INVEST IN THE VOCA APP, INC. TODAY!
Podcasting hasn't been this simple until Voca.*
People can pay you to be in your podcast series.
Voca makes your community more personable.
*Information from Forbes (source)
Podcasting communities are constantly evolving and will continue to grow, not only with the new wave of business podcasting but also with the early adoption of Web3 (a new iteration of the internet based on public blockchain) in the creator economy. Voca intends to be at the forefront of this evolution with an app that allows all creators, listeners, and brands a way to schedule, create, stream, and share podcasts all on one platform.
Voca plans to eventually implement Web3 features on the platform to allow podcast communities to get creative with the new wave of the internet. Our goal is to streamline interaction with the growing Web3 space and allow podcast creators to further monetize their time and talent in creative and innovative ways.
One of the new features Voca is set to release by 2023 is called Voca Audio. Voca Audio is the type of podcast content that primarily exists today – audio-only recorded conversations. With Voca Audio and Voca Video, we fully streamline the podcasting process all into one platform for your community to follow you directly where you create. Plus, your community is able to literally offer you money to be a guest speaker in your Voca Podcast series. How cool is that?
The Problem
For something that is said will eventually consume the internet (source), we believe it’s quite bizarre something like Voca hasn’t existed until now. Why? Because, in order for you to create a podcast today, there are several barriers to overcome; the first one being to purchase audio equipment and a laptop. How is that easily accessible to everyone? Our team believes, in order for businesses, entrepreneurs, and everyday people to adopt podcasting as a form of marketing and community development, the bar to entry has to be lowered. And Voca does just that.
The Solution
Not only do we solve the most basic need for new podcast creators, but we also allow existing podcast creators unique features for a) more personable community connection and b) more ways to monetize their time creatively. Your community gets to send you paid requests to be in your Voca podcast series. And you get to accept, deny, or propose a different time. That’s our secret sauce for existing podcast communities. And it’s already working!
Also, it’s important to note we’re not trying to overtake other existing podcasting platforms like Spotify and Apple Podcasts – they have their place in the market and we love what they’re doing for creators! However, we’re simply wanting to co-exist as a more simplified, personable experience. Eventually, we even see ourselves adding on distribution capabilities that allow podcast creators to distribute to other platforms directly through our app. The future is bright!
Voca combines video and audio calling, cash exchange, and productivity into one app. It allows for the creation of organic podcast content without the hassle of setting up, editing and distributing a podcast.
We plan to generate revenue by taking a 10% fee of all Vocas sold on the platform, although we plan to add a subscription-based feature in the near future. Once this begins, Voca will take 10% of all creator monthly subscriptions.
Our company is all about empowering podcast communities to learn, grow, and utilize digital assets in the new world of Web3. For this reason, we have a Web3-related collection of Vocas watchable on the app, titled “Let’s talk Web3.” We are also working on new features to highlight specific series of Voca Audio podcasts.
The Market
The creator economy is worth over $100 billion (Source) and the podcast market is set to hit $94.88 billion by 2028 (Source). On top of that, Globe Newswire predicts the Web3 space is going to grow “exponentially” by 2030 (Source), which means we’re in a hugely defining decade for the future of technology, creative communities, and the creator ecosystem.
Our Traction
Our product has been on the market for several months now and we are excited to continue growing our user base with a focus on the future of podcasting.
Why Invest
Within five years, we hope to be regarded as a respectable driving force at the forefront of the creator ecosystem. Throughout this coming year, we’re excited to see the growth we’ll achieve by continuing to strengthen our technology, exploring new avenues of community connection, and bringing podcast creators and listeners to the platform. We also plan to add new features to the Voca platform in 2023, like having solo Vocas, enabling up to 20 people in one Voca, Vocas that users pay to watch, subscription-based content, and the ability for creators to make their own Voca series. Other works in progress include a desktop version of Voca to continue making our platform more accessible to those around the world.
The Voca App is a community-focused platform for podcasters, providing simple steps for scheduling, recording, and streaming video and audio content. Podcasters are even able to allow others to pay to be in their series. Run by Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Adam Ragsdale, Voca has been on the market for several months and is focused on becoming a major leader in the creator economy’s growth in podcasting, while also establishing a Web3 roadmap for podcast creators.

Welcome to the future of podcasting. We're stoked to have you on this incredible ride with us!
Wow, it has been an incredible first few months of our campaign launch! With 31 new investors and over $10k raised, we're going to keep moving forward in pioneering the future of connection. We may be ahead of our time (as we've been told by several individuals), but that simply means our persistence will eventually line up with global adoption. We truly believe it's not a matter of "if," but "when."
So, what's next for Voca?
Is there any way I can help other than monetarily?
Why yes, we're so glad you asked. You can help by simply sharing this with other people you know! Whether they care about investing or podcasting, or the future of connection, we want them to be a part owner!
How come this is the first Campaign Update?
We had a bit of a hiccup with some of our initial Campaign Updates not being seen, but the StartEngine team has been extremely generous to extend our campaign and work with us to make sure our next updates are seen!
Stay hungry. Stay foolish.
The Voca Team

With Regulation A+, a non-accredited investor can only invest a maximum of 10% of their annual income or 10% of their net worth per year, whichever is greater. There are no restrictions for accredited investors.
With Regulation Crowdfunding, non-accredited investors with an annual income or net worth less than $124,000, are limited to invest a maximum of 5% of the greater of those two amounts. For those with an annual income and net worth greater than $124,000, he/she is limited to investing 10% of the greater of the two amounts.
At the close of an offering, all investors whose funds have “cleared” by this time will be included in the disbursement. At this time, each investor will receive an email from StartEngine with their Countersigned Subscription Agreement, which will serve as their proof of purchase moving forward.
Please keep in mind that a company can conduct a series of “closes” or withdrawals of funds throughout the duration of the campaign. If you are included in that withdrawal period, you will be emailed your countersigned subscription agreement and proof of purchase immediately following that withdrawal.
StartEngine assists companies in raising capital, and once the offering is closed, we are no longer involved with whether the company chooses to list shares on a secondary market, or what occurs thereafter. Therefore, StartEngine has no control or insight into your investment after the close of the live offering. In addition, we are not permitted to provide financial advice. You may want to contact a financial professional to discuss possible investment outcomes.
For Regulation Crowdfunding, investors are able to cancel their investment at any point throughout the campaign up until 48 hours before the closing of the offering. Note: If the company does a rolling close, they will post an update to their current investors, giving them the opportunity to cancel during this timeframe. If you do not cancel within this 5-day timeframe, your funds will be invested in the company, and you will no longer be able to cancel the investment. If your funds show as ‘Invested’ on your account dashboard, your investment can no longer be canceled.
For Regulation A+, StartEngine allows for a four-hour cancelation period. Once the four-hour window has passed, it is up to each company to set their own cancelation policy. You may find the company’s cancelation policy in the company’s offering circular.
Once your investment is canceled, there is a 10-day clearing period (from the date your investment was submitted). After your funds have cleared the bank, you will receive your refund within 10 business days.
Refunds that are made through ACH payments can take up to 10 business days to clear. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the bank, but we will do everything we can to get you your refund as soon as possible. However, every investment needs to go through the clearing process in order to get sent back to the account associated with the investment.
Both Title III (Regulation Crowdfunding) and Title IV (Reg A+) help entrepreneurs crowdfund capital investments from unaccredited and accredited investors. The differences between these regulations are related to the investor limitations, the differing amounts of money companies are permitted to raise, and differing disclosure and filing requirements. To learn more about Regulation Crowdfunding, click here, and for Regulation A+, click here.
