Building Resilient Teams™

According to a recent LinkedIn Learning Report, global L&D leaders reported resilience as the #1 most important workplace skill in all of the countries surveyed. Resilience is a human resource strength in organizations that can and should be developed. Collective resilience is the team’s ability to overcome adversity, and then adapt and grow together because of that adversity. Resilient teams are the key to both individual and organizational resilience.

There is a public demand for relevant certifications in the workforce marketplace (source). Certifications are earned by people to demonstrate knowledge, skills, and abilities. Earning a professional certification can promote economic mobility (source).

With turbulent economic conditions currently affecting so many, companies are recognizing the importance of upskilling. We have experienced this firsthand, having achieved more than $3M in revenue since January 2020.

Now, seeking to capitalize on this early growth, RBLP is partnering with colleges, universities, leadership coaches, training companies, and career schools to rapidly scale the delivery of our leadership certification program.

The SOLUTION

A Certification Solution for Building Resilient Teams™

The Resilience-Building Leader Program is the certification body for the Resilience-Building Leadership Professional™ (RBLP™) series of leadership certifications. Our vision is to create a worldwide community of practice committed to the idea of Building Resilient Teams™.

Our three-tiered leadership certification program provides organizations of any size, in any industry, with a holistic and scalable solution for certifying that front-line supervisors, middle managers, and senior leaders demonstrate competency in the leader tasks applicable to Building Resilient Teams™.

Typically, most certifications are earned by passing a computerized written exam. We disrupted the certification space by developing oral certification exams because they test leadership knowledge more effectively than written exams. Applicants are required to show competence of factual (what), conceptual (why), and procedural (how) knowledge in each of the competency domains applicable to their level of certification. Our standardized exams are conducted online via video conference.

All exam administrators hold doctoral degrees and have over 20 years of leadership experience. Currently RBLP exams are available in both English and Spanish, with French, Portuguese, and Hebrew exams in development.

*The above information and statistics are based on internal research administered by the Resilience-Building Leader Program.

RBLP exams are primarily funded by corporate education benefits which typically renew annually. Since many employees will look to obtain more than one certification over the course of their career, we position our unique leadership certifications as being complementary to all other management and functional certifications.

Preparation for our certification exams is provided by our network of Authorized Training Partner (ATP) colleges, universities, leadership coaches, training companies, and career schools. This instructor-led exam prep training mimics the oral exam process, using experiential learning techniques and coaching skills to facilitate reflection and critical thinking about each applicable leader task.

The MARKET

There is Growing Public Demand for Workplace Certifications & Professional Development Opportunities

An estimated $177B is spent annually on workforce education and training (source). As businesses seek to navigate the challenges of today’s job market, billions are being invested into companies focused on professional development (source).

The practice of upskilling employees has continued to prove a cost-effective way to increase organizational productivity and effectiveness (source). Even amongst unfavorable conditions accelerated by the pandemic, quality certifications have been shown to promote economic mobility for workers while also increasing the talent pool for employers (source).

To answer this growing demand, colleges, universities, leadership coaches, training companies, and career schools are adding more certification opportunities to their professional and continuing education offerings. Colleges and universities are also finding value in embedding professional certifications into their degree programs (source).

RBLP believes we are in the right place, at the right time to succeed within the current market. Our certification program specifically assesses the leader skills and knowledge required to build resilient teams, placing us in a unique and favorable position.

OUR TRACTION

Over $3M in Revenue with a Growing List of Partnerships

Since January 2020, RBLP has conducted nearly 1800 certification exams and has achieved more than $3 million in revenue

We believe our reviews speak for themselves about the program's value. Based on survey responses from our certification holders, 99% of our certification holders would recommend the RBLP leadership certifications to others.

In November of 2021, we started partnering with colleges and universities to provide exam prep training for our certification exams. With nearly 4,000 higher education institutions in the U.S. alone, this is an exciting opportunity that we intend to pursue aggressively. Visit our website to see which colleges and universities we are partnering with.

We intend to use funds from our capital raise to increase our capacity to partner with colleges, universities, leadership coaches, training companies, and career schools. We also plan to use these funds to increase our marketing and public relations capacities.

We are confident in our ability to hire and retain top talent. We have established a diverse, inclusive, fair, and fun remote work environment with competitive pay and benefits. We offer a 401K retirement plan with generous matching contributions and health insurance to our current nine full-time employees.

Why INvest

Creating a Worldwide Community of Practice Committed to the Idea of Building Resilient Teams

Amidst the shift to remote work, the labor shortage, and movements such as the Great Resignation, employees have become far more discerning about the workplaces they commit their time to. Companies are realizing it's more cost-effective to train the talent they already have rather than hiring new employees, and as such, we believe the Resilience-Building Leader Program will be the perfect resource for these organizations.

Join us as we create a worldwide community of practice committed to the idea of Building Resilient Teams™.  Invest in the Resilience-Building Leader Program today.

Meet Daniel Robert, our new Director of People and Program Success!

Here at Resilience-Building Leader Program (RBLP), we try hard to provide purpose for everyone on our team.

Having a sense of purpose at work is important. When people have a sense of purpose for the work that they do, they are more motivated and committed.

We provide purpose here at RBLP by challenging everyone to be their best. We challenge them because we know that most people, especially the people that we hire, are looking to grow personally and professionally.

One of the newest additions to our team says that he accepted a full-time position here at RBLP for exactly that reason. He wants to be challenged. He wants to grow.

Join me in welcoming Daniel Robert to our team. Daniel is our new Director of People and Program Success here at RBLP!

Daniel is a retired Marine that has been involved with RBLP since 2020. As an instructor, he helped over 200 people reach their ‘aha’ moment by training them to build and lead resilient teams. Those are impressive numbers!

We don’t offer training anymore at RBLP. We now rely on our network of Authorized Education Partners and Authorized Training Partners to get people ready for their exams.

In Daniel’s new role, we are challenging him to help a few thousand more people successfully navigate the process of getting trained, applying for certification, and taking their exam.

Now that we are raising our first round of venture capital here on StartEngine platform, hiring Daniel is one of the ways we are putting those funds to work. We’re on a roll here at RBLP and we’re just getting started.

L+30 day update for RBLP – Get Certified in Building and Leading Resilient Teams

The Resilience-Building Leader Program (RBLP) campaign launched 30 days ago here on StartEngine! We are proud to say that we have raised over $670,000 from 123 investors so far! We're quite excited to see our community, friends, and family supporting RBLP! Our insiders have invested a total of $137,502.56 into the offering to date! These are the people that know us the best and we want to thank them all for their support. We appreciate you!

What’s RBLP all about?

Resilient teams are the key to both individual and organizational resilience. Resilient teams are stronger together and they make organizational learning and change possible. Our purpose is to share this truth with leaders everywhere.

The people that earn our certification can:

  • Raise morale in the workplace by creating a positive climate for people to work in.
  • Boost teamwork by developing cohesion among team members.
  • Improve employee motivation and commitment by providing purpose in the workplace.
  • Increase the team’s ability to solve problems and overcome challenges by facilitating team learning.
  • Enhance the organization’s ability to change and compete by supporting organizational learning.

Stay tuned for our next update!

Meet Belinda Aramide, our new Director of Pubic Relations!

Here at Resilience-Building Leader Program (RBLP), we hire for character and aptitude. Although current skillsets are certainly a consideration, we are far more interested in a person’s potential to adapt and grow with the company.

Why am I telling you this?

Now that we have started raising our first round of venture capital via the StartEngine platform, it’s my job to put those funds to work. And one way to get that new capital working is to hire some new staff for key roles.

So here we go! Meet Belinda Aramide, our new Director of Public Relations.

We had the pleasure of working with Belinda on a few projects in the early days of RBLP back in 2019. She has always shared our vision of creating a worldwide community of practice committed to the idea of Building Resilient Teams.

She has a corporate background in executive sales with experience in adult education and digital marketing. In 2018 she started her own sales and personal branding consulting firm, working with companies and executives on personal branding and executive presence.

Somehow, I convinced her to join us full-time now to help us shout our message of Building Resilient Teams from the rooftops. Please join me in welcoming Belinda to our team here at RBLP.

Dr. Gene Coughlin, Founder/CEO.

With Regulation A+, a non-accredited investor can only invest a maximum of 10% of their annual income or 10% of their net worth per year, whichever is greater. There are no restrictions for accredited investors.

With Regulation Crowdfunding, non-accredited investors with an annual income or net worth less than $124,000, are limited to invest a maximum of 5% of the greater of those two amounts. For those with an annual income and net worth greater than $124,000, he/she is limited to investing 10% of the greater of the two amounts.

At the close of an offering, all investors whose funds have “cleared” by this time will be included in the disbursement. At this time, each investor will receive an email from StartEngine with their Countersigned Subscription Agreement, which will serve as their proof of purchase moving forward.

Please keep in mind that a company can conduct a series of “closes” or withdrawals of funds throughout the duration of the campaign. If you are included in that withdrawal period, you will be emailed your countersigned subscription agreement and proof of purchase immediately following that withdrawal.

StartEngine assists companies in raising capital, and once the offering is closed, we are no longer involved with whether the company chooses to list shares on a secondary market, or what occurs thereafter. Therefore, StartEngine has no control or insight into your investment after the close of the live offering. In addition, we are not permitted to provide financial advice. You may want to contact a financial professional to discuss possible investment outcomes.

For Regulation Crowdfunding, investors are able to cancel their investment at any point throughout the campaign up until 48 hours before the closing of the offering. Note: If the company does a rolling close, they will post an update to their current investors, giving them the opportunity to cancel during this timeframe. If you do not cancel within this 5-day timeframe, your funds will be invested in the company, and you will no longer be able to cancel the investment. If your funds show as ‘Invested’ on your account dashboard, your investment can no longer be canceled.

For Regulation A+, StartEngine allows for a four-hour cancelation period. Once the four-hour window has passed, it is up to each company to set their own cancelation policy. You may find the company’s cancelation policy in the company’s offering circular.

Once your investment is canceled, there is a 10-day clearing period (from the date your investment was submitted). After your funds have cleared the bank, you will receive your refund within 10 business days.

Refunds that are made through ACH payments can take up to 10 business days to clear. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the bank, but we will do everything we can to get you your refund as soon as possible. However, every investment needs to go through the clearing process in order to get sent back to the account associated with the investment.

Both Title III (Regulation Crowdfunding) and Title IV (Reg A+) help entrepreneurs crowdfund capital investments from unaccredited and accredited investors. The differences between these regulations are related to the investor limitations, the differing amounts of money companies are permitted to raise, and differing disclosure and filing requirements. To learn more about Regulation Crowdfunding, click here, and for Regulation A+, click here.
