INVEST IN COPPERWORKS DISTILLING COMPANY TODAY!
Led by a team with decades of industry experience, Copperworks has achieved nine years of successful operation with record spirit sales and whiskey production in 2022, and fundraising campaigns that have raised over $2.75 million.
Copperworks has two new locations in the works to increase customer engagement opportunities and create substantial revenue streams. One location is in the final phase of construction; the other is in the design phase.
Copperworks has dramatically increased production capacity by partnering with a state-of-the-art facility. We are now able to grow production to five times our previous capacity as demand for our award-winning spirits rises.
Copperworks was founded by craft brewers with more than 30 years of experience in the alcohol industry. We built our distillery to answer the question: how would spirits taste if they were distilled from superior craft beer (without hops) instead of the typical methods and ingredients of conventional distilleries? The answer led Copperworks to become a pioneer in producing American Single Malt Whiskey, a fast-growing spirits category with substantial national and international market opportunity.

The Market
We believe Copperworks is well positioned to capitalize on the substantial and consistent growth of the craft spirits market and, more specifically, the American whiskey market. Combined, these two categories create an untapped market opportunity.

Copperworks was honored to be named the 2018 Distillery of the Year by the American Distilling Institute. Our whiskey and gin have won numerous awards in prestigious spirits competitions, including multiple Double Gold medals and consistent scores of 90+ points. (source)
As an early innovator in the American Single Malt Whiskey category, Copperworks is an established leader and well-respected brand in this rapidly growing spirits category. The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (often called the “TTB”) is in the final stages of approving American Single Malt Whiskey as a legally recognized whiskey in America. Copperworks was a founding member of the American Single Malt Whiskey Commission—the organization that drafted the proposed rules and organized the formal request to the TTB and one of the few remaining independent distilleries producing significant volumes of this type of whiskey.
Copperworks leadership team holds (and has previously held) prominent positions of leadership in the U.S. craft spirits industry. Copperworks President, Jason Parker, serves as an officer of the American Single Malt Whiskey Commission and as a board member for the Craft Maltsters Guild. Jason was also Board Chair for the Washington Distillers Guild. Copperworks Vice President, Jeff Kanof, serves as a board member for the American Craft Spirits Association and he has also served as a past officer of that organization.

We're growing quickly and are looking for a full-time Tasting Room Associate (35-40 hours per week) for our Seattle Distillery and Tasting Room on the downtown waterfront. This is a great entry-level position for anyone motivated to join the craft spirits industry.
This position is primarily a customer service role. Starting pay is $20/hour with two weeks paid vacation per calendar year. You may receive additional income through tips. We also offer some unique benefits, including, but not limited to, partially subsidized ORCA cards (public transit), partial health insurance reimbursement, 401(k) matching after one year of employment, discounted personal spirit bottles, and the opportunity to take part in educational spirit tastings.
No industry experience is required. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about spirits and self-motivated to work on a variety of tasks that are essential for a craft distillery.

Last week, we had the pleasure of participating in the Pike Place Market Foundation's "Celebrate the Market" fundraising event. We teamed up with another local distiller, Fast Penny Spirits, to donate our product and serve up some exceptionally delicious Manhattans. The sun was shining, folks were smiling, and the cocktails disappeared quickly as soon as word got out that the latest batch of Copperworks American Single Malt Whiskey was used to created the event's signature cocktail.
The event brought in over $260,000 which will go to support the network of social services provided by the foundation that is directly connected to the world-famous Pike Place Market. The market is one of our neighbors here on the Seattle waterfront, and we're always proud to support our community as much as we can!
Above: Maddie from Fast Penny Spirits and Abigail from Copperworks teamed up to serve Manhattans as the event's signature cocktail.

We're excited to introduce Copperworks American Single Malt Whiskey, Release 047, our largest blend to date!
Not only are we increasing the size of our releases, but their distribution, too. A portion of Release 047 is destined for select export markets, including Taiwan, joining a handful of special selections that recently made their way across the pond to markets such as Italy, Canada, UK, and Japan. Just as the American Single Malt Whiskey category gains more recognition on the global stage, we're well poised to accommodate the growing demand for Copperworks spirits at home and abroad.
This international distribution is an exciting accomplishment and an indicator of our continued growth, especially in light of our recent expansion with our Talking Cedar partnership. For more details on Release 047, click here. We invite you to help us keep up the momentum by becoming an investor - and enjoying a bottle of our latest and greatest whiskey!

It may not look like much, but this piece of paper is another step closer to the opening of our new location in Kenmore! We've applied for our liquor license and can't wait to start serving Copperworks spirits and cocktails just north of Seattle this summer.
We are so grateful for everyone who has invested so far. Our success is your success, so please be sure to spread the good news as we get closer each day to the grand opening of this new location! And if you haven't yet finished your investment, consider this your sign to do so!

If you've been following our campaign, then you know one of our expansion projects is a new partnership with Talking Cedar Brewery, the first tribally owned and operated brewery in Washington. Thanks to this partnership, we've already seen an increase in whiskey production and expect a 5x increase in our overall production capacity (compared to our capacity prior to the partnership).
The word is out and a few media outlets have already picked up on the partnership, including The Spirits Business. For a deeper dive into this partnership, check out this article by Experience Olympia & Beyond, plus some photos from our team's recent visit.

With Regulation A+, a non-accredited investor can only invest a maximum of 10% of their annual income or 10% of their net worth per year, whichever is greater. There are no restrictions for accredited investors.
With Regulation Crowdfunding, non-accredited investors with an annual income or net worth less than $124,000, are limited to invest a maximum of 5% of the greater of those two amounts. For those with an annual income and net worth greater than $124,000, he/she is limited to investing 10% of the greater of the two amounts.
At the close of an offering, all investors whose funds have “cleared” by this time will be included in the disbursement. At this time, each investor will receive an email from StartEngine with their Countersigned Subscription Agreement, which will serve as their proof of purchase moving forward.
Please keep in mind that a company can conduct a series of “closes” or withdrawals of funds throughout the duration of the campaign. If you are included in that withdrawal period, you will be emailed your countersigned subscription agreement and proof of purchase immediately following that withdrawal.
StartEngine assists companies in raising capital, and once the offering is closed, we are no longer involved with whether the company chooses to list shares on a secondary market, or what occurs thereafter. Therefore, StartEngine has no control or insight into your investment after the close of the live offering. In addition, we are not permitted to provide financial advice. You may want to contact a financial professional to discuss possible investment outcomes.
For Regulation Crowdfunding, investors are able to cancel their investment at any point throughout the campaign up until 48 hours before the closing of the offering. Note: If the company does a rolling close, they will post an update to their current investors, giving them the opportunity to cancel during this timeframe. If you do not cancel within this 5-day timeframe, your funds will be invested in the company, and you will no longer be able to cancel the investment. If your funds show as ‘Invested’ on your account dashboard, your investment can no longer be canceled.
For Regulation A+, StartEngine allows for a four-hour cancelation period. Once the four-hour window has passed, it is up to each company to set their own cancelation policy. You may find the company’s cancelation policy in the company’s offering circular.
Once your investment is canceled, there is a 10-day clearing period (from the date your investment was submitted). After your funds have cleared the bank, you will receive your refund within 10 business days.
Refunds that are made through ACH payments can take up to 10 business days to clear. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the bank, but we will do everything we can to get you your refund as soon as possible. However, every investment needs to go through the clearing process in order to get sent back to the account associated with the investment.
Both Title III (Regulation Crowdfunding) and Title IV (Reg A+) help entrepreneurs crowdfund capital investments from unaccredited and accredited investors. The differences between these regulations are related to the investor limitations, the differing amounts of money companies are permitted to raise, and differing disclosure and filing requirements. To learn more about Regulation Crowdfunding, click here, and for Regulation A+, click here.
