Hello,
In the midst of uncertainty, we want you to know one thing is certain: Atlis will not stop. Our top priority is the health and safety of our team - without them, we are nothing - so we have leaned on technology to allow us to keep pushing forward while also keeping team members safely distanced from each other. If you'd like to hear how we're continuing to work, watch the latest video on our YouTube channel of our VP of Talent, Tamica, and Chief of Staff, Annie, discussing our strategies to get work done during this time.
We're not going to compromise our roadmap or team's safety because of COVID-19. Instead, we're going to do what we do best: find creative ways to solve problems. Stay tuned for more updates on progress. In the near-term, be sure to register for our upcoming Virtual Battery Day by using the "Events" tab on our website. To ensure you're receiving all of our updates, please be sure to subscribe to our email list.

We said it was coming, and we've shared on Social Media. But here it is in all its glory, the XP Platform from Atlis Motor Vehicles. This prototype is just that, a concept and prototype of the design intent behind Atlis Motor Vehicles' vision of the future.
The XP Platform shows some very unique capabilities we're developing, and this platform will be used to continuously develop technology as we work towards production readiness in late 2020.

As we look to the future, we are reminded that it takes real work to create change. We may never be able to convince others to sacrifice a convenience available today to make the world better, therefore Atlis Motor Vehicles is bringing products and solutions to market that provide those conveniences without compromise. We will bring real change to the world, and we appreciate your help. Your investments allow us to make change happen.
Be sure to reserve your spot in line on our Regulation A+ "Test the waters" campaign.

Hello Start Engine investors and community,
Better pictures will be coming soon, but we wanted to be sure that we update our community of investors on the XP Platform. The suspension is aired up with lots of ground clearance, 99% of the XP platform assembled in this picture. We'll have better, high-quality photos in another week for everyone to view. Ignore the caps on top.
Over the last month, we've been working through development efforts with the XT pickup truck, finishing up final touches for the XP Platform, we've been interviewing potential team members, reached out to our contest winners, and working our next Regulation A+ offering.
We've added some new team members. Glenn Reese is joining our team as VP of Business Development, and we've also brought on core team members in Finance and Legal capacities to assist us in our Regulation A+ campaign which is coming soon. You can learn more about the Regulation A+ campaign at www.startengine.com/atlis-motor-vehicles-2

In the past 11 months, we've had the privilege of having over 2,000 investors and over 6,000 followers join us in this journey, for which we are eternally thankful. These investments have helped Atlis Motor Vehicles build our initial team, refine our specifications, engineer our platform, reach out to potential customers and suppliers, and much more.
Progress continues on our XP platform. We are bringing our remote team members together again for a “build week” and final assembly of the components later this month. Our second prototype battery module and charge system are also nearing final assembly stages. Stay tuned on our website and social media for upcoming announcements.
The winner of the Ford Raptor giveaway and the four winners of the Atlis XT pickups when we begin production will be selected and announced by March 11.
Today we're launching a Regulation A+ Test-the-Waters campaign. This campaign is for our next round of funding to bring us into an early, low-volume manufacturing stage, but this initial “test-the-waters” phase is only to gauge investor interest and is not accepting further investments just yet. We encourage those who were unable to participate in this round to indicate interest in our TTW campaign at www.startengine.com/atlis-motor-vehicles-2

Hello Atlis investors and followers,
Our new website and reveal of the updated design of the truck has generated much more interest than we had ever anticipated. This is a great thing for us, and we thank you all for your support.
As noted in our last update, we have reached the campaign goal. Additional investors are still pouring in, but unfortunately, any investments after our goal was completed were "waitlisted". Due to this continued overwhelming demand, we have decided to extend our campaign to the full amount allowed by the SEC regulations, allowing a few more investors to join.
We are still evaluating our options for the future, but once the new limit is reached this campaign will close. After closing, we will select the winners for our giveaways within 30 days.
Please stay tuned and we expect to have more news soon!

With Regulation A+, a non-accredited investor can only invest a maximum of 10% of their annual income or 10% of their net worth per year, whichever is greater. There are no restrictions for accredited investors.
With Regulation Crowdfunding, non-accredited investors with an annual income or net worth less than $124,000, are limited to invest a maximum of 5% of the greater of those two amounts. For those with an annual income and net worth greater than $124,000, he/she is limited to investing 10% of the greater of the two amounts.
At the close of an offering, all investors whose funds have “cleared” by this time will be included in the disbursement. At this time, each investor will receive an email from StartEngine with their Countersigned Subscription Agreement, which will serve as their proof of purchase moving forward.
Please keep in mind that a company can conduct a series of “closes” or withdrawals of funds throughout the duration of the campaign. If you are included in that withdrawal period, you will be emailed your countersigned subscription agreement and proof of purchase immediately following that withdrawal.
StartEngine assists companies in raising capital, and once the offering is closed, we are no longer involved with whether the company chooses to list shares on a secondary market, or what occurs thereafter. Therefore, StartEngine has no control or insight into your investment after the close of the live offering. In addition, we are not permitted to provide financial advice. You may want to contact a financial professional to discuss possible investment outcomes.
For Regulation Crowdfunding, investors are able to cancel their investment at any point throughout the campaign up until 48 hours before the closing of the offering. Note: If the company does a rolling close, they will post an update to their current investors, giving them the opportunity to cancel during this timeframe. If you do not cancel within this 5-day timeframe, your funds will be invested in the company, and you will no longer be able to cancel the investment. If your funds show as ‘Invested’ on your account dashboard, your investment can no longer be canceled.
For Regulation A+, StartEngine allows for a four-hour cancelation period. Once the four-hour window has passed, it is up to each company to set their own cancelation policy. You may find the company’s cancelation policy in the company’s offering circular.
Once your investment is canceled, there is a 10-day clearing period (from the date your investment was submitted). After your funds have cleared the bank, you will receive your refund within 10 business days.
Refunds that are made through ACH payments can take up to 10 business days to clear. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the bank, but we will do everything we can to get you your refund as soon as possible. However, every investment needs to go through the clearing process in order to get sent back to the account associated with the investment.
Both Title III (Regulation Crowdfunding) and Title IV (Reg A+) help entrepreneurs crowdfund capital investments from unaccredited and accredited investors. The differences between these regulations are related to the investor limitations, the differing amounts of money companies are permitted to raise, and differing disclosure and filing requirements. To learn more about Regulation Crowdfunding, click here, and for Regulation A+, click here.
