Hello StartEngine Community
We've had a busy several weeks, and while it sometimes appears on the surface that we're not making progress, we have been diligently working to move forward.
Here's another look at our most recent images providing a sneak peek at the dash setup. We'll continue to show little snippet as we work through the design details to ensure we're developing the right vehicle with the right features. Please feel free to leave us comments as we progress!
XP Platform Update
We're awaiting delivery of the platform cover plates. In the meantime, over the next several weeks the frame and suspension components will be finish painted and prepped for our debut.
Upcoming Battery pack testing
We are currently working to develop the larger pack for live demonstration testing here in the Phoenix area early in 2019. With the installation of a larger charging station, capable of 350KW of power, we'll be able to live test a much larger pack design than done previously. Look out for more information as we get closer to this debut, as we'll be looking to invite several of our investors and followers out to witness a demonstration.
Changes to the suspension setup
We've decided to switch our suspension setup from a separate shock and air spring system to a single air over shock setup. This new setup will allow us to simplify our suspension design and maintain our load carrying and ride comfort characteristics.
Thanks to our friends at Ridetech for providing the prototype hardware. Here is one of the shocks next to our monster BFG tires mounted on Ultra wheels.
Integration of a disconnecting Sway Bar
In our prototype vehicle, we'll be integrating a functioning disconnecting sway bar setup which can be controlled from in the cabin through our center console digital interface. This capability will provide the Atlis Motor Vehicles XT pickup truck with improved off-road capabilities and articulation when traversing those more perilous conditions.
Future: active sway bar control with integrated disconnect mechanism
While we cannot take on a larger endeavor at this time, we are looking at an active sway bar control system with the addition of a disconnection function. This particular setup offers the best potential ride handling while also the ultimate in off-road articulation.
Material change and campaign extension.
We recently completed a campaign extension and as part of this process, several investments made were canceled. If your investments were one of these cancellations and you may resubmit your investment as there is still time before we reach our goal of $1 million.
As the holidays approach we'd like to wish everyone happy holidays and we look forward to more updates and conversations in the future.
