It’s been an awesome, busy, spring. Since this season is known for new beginnings, let’s highlight some of the big changes happening at AEXLAB:
We’re leaving our original studio where we spent years hunkered down developing VAIL VR and moving into a new office only a few minutes away. The original space resembled an underground bunker, not too dissimilar from our landscapes in VAIL VR. It will always hold a special place in our hearts. Although bittersweet, this is an important step as we begin to scale operations and make new hires. We’re particularly looking forward to the natural sunlight that enters the space and the view of the Miami-Dade County Courthouse, a historic symbol of Miami since the 1920s.
Our team is growing. We’ve recently welcomed a few new team members into the AEXLAB family. They’ll be working across departments with responsibilities ranging from marketing and community building to rendering and designing in-game assets. We’re also happy to share that they’re multidisciplinary locals who we believe will bring meaningful value to our organization. It’s imperative that we nurture the rapidly growing tech community here in Miami. The tech community here in Miami is rapidly growing, and is attracting new expansions of SoftBank, Microsoft and other storied companies. AEXLAB is located in Miami, the next great tech hub according to Forbes (link to article below).
The future of tech in Miami has never looked brighter and we feel incredibly fortunate to have all of your support at such an opportune moment. We look forward to finally settling in our new space and accelerating our mission to build the #1 competitive VR Shooter in the market. We’re thrilled you’ve decided to be a part of our journey.
