The Problem


Butt Hygiene is a real bummer

The use of toilet paper can be costly, irritating, ineffective, and contribute to massive deforestation. Not only does smearing around toilet paper hurt your bum and your wallet, but it’s also not giving you the thorough clean that you need. Until now, there’s been no significant innovation to personal hygiene in the bathroom, especially for when you’re on-the-go!



On an individual level, use of toilet paper has been connected to an increase in hemorrhoids, fissures, and skin irritation which could lead to serious medical conditions.

Americans are spraying more

The personal hygiene market is a $508 billion market, and the addressable bidet portion of this market currently sits at $24 billion, which has more than doubled in the past year post-pandemic (due to worldwide toilet paper shortages and gaps in supply chains). 


We’re projecting $1.75 million in revenue at the end of 2021, and $6.8 million in 2022.




Consequently, Americans seem to be adopting the concept of washing versus wiping in the bathroom at a fast rate. Specifically during the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve seen an unprecedented uptick in bidet use - for many reasons. Bidets are more hygienic, convenient, sustainable, and are even recommended by some medical providers.


A quote from Wired explains it best: "if a bird pooped on you, you wouldn't wipe it off with a dry towel. You would wipe it off with water."


Already common in Europe and Asia, bidets are the “full-proof” way to ensure a complete clean “down there”, and we’re seeing more and more people in America becoming open to the idea of them--first as a result of the hoarding that occurred earlier in the pandemic, but now Americans are more curious about alternatives to the basic use of toilet paper.

We’ve created a patented, ergonomic, and powerful personal bidet product that is easy to use, carry, and does not require any installation. WonderSpray is lightweight, waterproof, sustainable, and antibacterial. 




Its specialized spray nozzle, custom handle grip, and custom pressure settings add to its functionality and ease of usability. WonderSpray provides an effective and refreshing clean with up to 175 mL of water. Simply charge, fill, and spray your bottom clean with our patented targeted spray technology.


We have 2 international patents pending covering the US, EU, and Asia (1 granted).


The first is a patent for the functionality of the device and our methods of pushing water up from the water tank through the spray nozzle resulting in a targeted stream. We also invented a new way to put the WonderSpray between a "Sleep" and "Active" state by twisting the top cap (when on the go). The second is a patent for the overall design of the WonderSpray including the pressure buttons, antibacterial coating, spray button, overall cylindrical form, and more.


Both of these patents are pending and have already been expedited to be cleared by USPTO within the next 6 months.

The 10% StartEngine Owners' Bonus

We're off to a great start with the campaign as we're just about to surpass $40k in our first few days. We received a lot of great questions from you about the WonderSpray product, how it works, the company mission, and more. We wanted to share some of the most common questions we've received and answer them directly in this thread. 


What is the overall mission of the company? Where do you see yourself in 3-4 years?

At WonderSpray we're on a mission to enhance the bathroom experience for a cleaner and healthier lifestyle. We are not a one-product company. We aim to become the next large household brand-name within the personal hygiene space (similar to a Colgate, Dove, St Ives, etc). In the next 1-2 years we're planning on releasing new product lines to compliment our flagship WonderSpray product and further enhance the bathroom experience for all!


What kind of feedback have you heard from your initial customers?

When we launched we kept an open feedback loop with some of our initial customers to understand what we can improve and how others are using WonderSpray. So far we've received amazing feedback from our first customers who are now using WonderSpray on a daily basis to clean up. The most common feedback we hear is how "quick and comfortable the entire washing experience is" vs rolling paper to wipe skin. 

We also received some feedback from customers asking for a smaller version of the WonderSpray which can also be used for toddlers and smaller children. Because of this, we've begun engineering efforts for a new product line called "WonderSpray Baby" which is a mini sprayer designed for a gentle wash for younger audiences and families! 


What will the funds be used for?

Our near-term goal is to use these funds to scale up our factory machinery to be able to produce up to 35,000 WonderSpray devices per month which we plan to sell through every quarter going forward. This will allow us to begin penetrating this wide-open market, especially in the US and EU. We'll also be dedicating a portion of funds raised directly towards our next purchase order of 15,000 devices and 5,000 cases, the more we order from our factories, the cheaper per-unit cost we'll be paying, in turn generating more net revenue each month. Finally, we're planning for a big marketing push in 2022 which will be supported by 2-3 high production (and humorous) WonderSpray brand videos that we'll push across our most profitable marketing channels (TikTok, Youtube, IG, Influencers, etc). We've seen some fantastic conversions from testing out video marketing channels in the past, and we plan to push this full-fledged next year as we make an even bigger splash in the market (pun intended)! 


How does WonderSpray work?

It's super easy! To use WonderSpray you simply charge, fill, and spray. WonderSpray can be charged with any USB-C charger, a 30 min charge provides 3 weeks of use. To fill your WonderSpray you open the refill tab on the back of the device and fill it up with warm water (or cold if you're feeling optimistic!). Next, click on the pressure mode you want, slightly bend forward, and spray yourself clean. Our patented spray tech provides a targeted spray without any splashing or mess at all! If you'd like you can use 1-2 sheets of TP to dab yourself dry after washing clean. 


Why is WonderSpray better than TP or wet wipes? 

Smearing dry paper directly across your skin is not as great as you may think. This can cause rashes, spread bacteria, leave residue, and is super wasteful. Wet wipes are just wet versions of this same concept! They smear residue across your skin and clog millions of sewers all over the world (even the flushable ones). We believe washing is the natural and most effective way to clean up.. that's why over 60% of the world already washes instead of wiping!


What does the current bidet market landscape look like? 

The major player in the toilet industry is Toto, a Japanese company pushing $100M in annual sales just within the US. Toto produces toilets with bidets attached to the toilet themselves. They are seeing an amazing market penetration rate and deploy both a consumer and business model. Other bidet-focused companies, such as Hello Tushy, focus mainly on bidet covers that attach to toilet seats which is a $20M+ per year business. There are other "squeeze bottles" and basic portable bottles available, but they don't come anywhere near to the sophistication of WonderSpray and all the features involved. 

The bidet market as a whole saw its highest ever growth rate, especially in the US, in the past 18 months. This market is expected to surpass $40B and keeps growing! We believe there's huge opportunity and a lot of room for a company with a fantastic product to come in and take a sizeable piece.

We wanted to share some insights on the massive industry we're heading into and how we're going to position WonderSpray as one of the leaders within the insanely fast-growing bidet niche. We'd also like to thank all investors that helped us immediately reach our initial funding goal within just a few hours! We've seen some incredible traction with our sales in the first year and amazing feedback from our initial customers as well. We have big plans for the company next year and we're excited to be giving everyone the opportunity to invest and grow together with us!


The total size of the personal hygiene industry itself stands at just about $508B annually and is on track to reach $700B by 2030. A pandemic of the size of COVID-19 helped people realize the importance of personal Hygiene and encouraged them to exercise it. The value of simple hygienic measures like handwashing (and buttwashing!) became apparent all of a sudden. This in turn has created a sudden demand for personal hygiene products, thereby driving the growth of the overall personal hygiene market through the roof, and it's not slowing down.



Bath products continue to lead this rising market trend. This is driven by an increase in personal disposable income and an increased willingness to spend on personal cleanliness. The bathroom hygiene aspect of the overall personal hygiene industry is a relatively new niche, especially in America, and we believe it's a perfect opportunity for us to carve out a highly profitable piece of this new market niche. A product like WonderSpray is a personal, self-use product that every individual uses for their own cleansing use (similar to a toothbrush), this allows us to sell through multiple "WonderSpray Packs" to couples and families easier and increases our overall sales given that every individual needs their own. 



This past year we've also seen a very heavy attachment rate to our add-on product lines such as our "WonderCase" carrying case. Almost 60% of all customers that purchased a WonderSpray also added a WonderCase to their order as well. This is data that shows a strong affinity to add-ons and complementary products of WonderSpray. As a result, we're planning to continue pushing our WonderCase and release a few additional new product lines next year to help compliment the WonderSpray bathroom experience.

Hi Everyone,


We're super excited to launch the WonderSpray campaign and we've already reached our funding goal within hours! The funds raised via this campaign will allow us to take the WonderSpray brand to the next level with upgraded tooling machinery, larger purchase orders to satisfy demand, and a much stronger marketing push in and around the holiday season. 2021 has been our first year on the market and we've already seen an incredible amount of demand as more and more people are transitioning to washing instead of wiping!


Factory Update 

Our team is currently working on building a brand new tooling machinery set that will allow us to produce up to 35,000 devices per month vs the 2,000 that we were limited to when we started. We're confident in our ability to sell our product lines and definitely need this upgrade as we move into the holiday season and 2022. We've also recently received a few orders with the updated packaging which we're super excited about (shown below)!



Massive Market Opportunity 

The entire personal hygiene industry, specifically the bidet industry, has seen a HUGE increase in overall growth in these past 18 months.
