WHEREAS, I, KOUSTUBH PARULEKAR, (Assignor) has invented certain new and useful improvements that are described and claimed in United States Patent Application Number 29/729,922 filed March 31, 2020, entitled WATER TREATMENT DEVICE
WHEREAS, VAND LABS INC., 225 Cherry Street, #58H, New York, NY 10002 (US) (Assignee), is desirous of acquiring the entire interest in and to said invention, said application, and all patents to be obtained therefrom.
DESIGN V. UTILITY: A "design patent" protects an article's ornamental appearance (e.g., the way an article looks) (35 U.S.C. 171), while a "utility patent" protects the way an article is used Commissioner for Patents and works (35 U.S.C. 101) ornamental appearance of an article includes its P.O. Box 1450 shape/configuration or surface ornamentation upon the article, or both. Both a design Alexandria, VA 22313‐1450 and a utility patent may be obtained on an article if invention resides both in its ornamental appearance and its utility.
