SoapSox is making bath time what it should be—fun for kids, easy for parents, and a safe place to relax, play, laugh, and bond. Drawing from our founder’s Ray Phillips experience at Hillsides Home for Children, Ray invented SoapSox after realizing that kids often didn't want to part with their stuffed animals during bath time. He created wash cloths with cute animal characters that hold liquid soap, making bath time engaging and exciting. SoapSox's innovative approach has been featured on Shark Tank and has since gained widespread acclaim and support.

Bath time with kids can often feel like a never-ending uphill battle. The reluctance and resistance children exhibit can be a real challenge for parents and caregivers. At SoapSox, we’re on a mission to transform this everyday struggle into a more enjoyable experience. Our innovative, patented product address the potential challenges at bath time head-on by making bath time fun—making hygiene a positive experience for children.

We manufacture and distribute not only a range of SoapSox wash cloths in popular styles, from beloved characters like Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol to classic animals like Sharks, Alligators, and Hippos. We have also expanded our line to include Hungry Hippo and Shark bath toys, and washable foam bath letters. We also added adorable slippers and towels to round out the bath time experience. Our products not only make children excited to hop in the tub but also offer a wide range of ways to engage them and facilitate hygiene through play.

We previously strategically partnered with large corporations for increased distribution. However, we now have the ability to expand our reach and profitability independently. We’re expanding into more retail channels, with a diverse offering of products that reach parents and kids no matter their taste. Growing areas include mass retail, specialty, and direct-to-consumer. Our innovative and compelling approach to bath time even inspired an animated series.

In a market where discussions about hygiene are often overlooked in the kid space, we've taken the initiative to spark engagement, all while ensuring children have a blast in the bath, creating a distinctive and lasting niche for SoapSox.

SoapSox's Journey to Every Bathtub

In the past 6-12 months, SoapSox achieved significant milestones reflecting our growing presence in the market. Notably, Macy's has decided to carry our products throughout their chain, and Target will feature SoapSox in 1,000 stores starting in Spring 2024. We've successfully raised over $1 million on StartEngine, secured design and utility patents worldwide, and have obtained licenses from Hasbro and Paramount (think brands like Sesame Street, Transformers, My Little Pony, Paw Patrol, and Peppa Pig). We’re also proud to have fostered a long-standing and growing partnership with The Honest Company.

Our experienced leadership team, with over two decades of expertise in children's mental health and ten years in CPG and product development, is driving the SoapSox vision forward. Our upcoming product developments, including washable speakers (SoapSox Sounders), are piquing the interest of major retailers. As we gear up for the launch of our Hungry Harper floating hippo bath toy at Macy's this year, we’re excited to have the opportunity to make an even greater impact on bath time and educating parents about the importance of making hygiene fun.
