We Reinvented the Wheel. Literally.

Invest in Shark Wheel

Why reinvent the wheel?  For 5,000 years the wheel has been the go-to design for most types of transportation. In fact, no one considered there could be a better design. The circular wheel was always considered the final design with no room for improvement.

Enter Shark Wheel inventor, David Patrick, who refused to accept the status quo. Not only did David create a shape that was drastically different, but he envisioned the shape possessing inherent advantages built into it. His search to improving the wheel was an uphill battle against industries that were not used to change.  He needed to prove his idea was revolutionary.

I met David through my tennis coach who thought I could help him build a business around his invention.  As a former professional tennis player on the ATP Tour for 10 years, I was no stranger to hard work, long hours, and relentless determination. I immediately saw the vast opportunity in joining forces with David to help bring the sine wave wheel to life. I imagined a skateboard company introducing a new wheel where the skater is safer going over debris and other rough terrain. I imagined a farmer whose tractor creates unwanted trenches in the field and being able to help that farmer save money and not dig a trench with our wheels. I imagined a wheelchair user having the freedom to go more places without rough terrain standing in their way.

Shark Wheel is a company located in Lake Forest, California dedicated to making the most unique, innovative and technologically advanced wheels in the marketplace. The Shark Wheel is flat on six sides and displays many scientifically proven advantages compared to the traditional wheel. Having won multiple international competitions in the skateboarding industry, the Shark Wheel has proven to be a high-performance product.

The patent pending Shark Wheel is a perfect fit for transportation use including wheelchairs, strollers, wagons, farming equipment, military applications, ATV vehicles, shopping carts, tricycles, hand trucks, printers, toys, iv poles, casters, roller skates, luggage, forklifts, office chairs, wagons, vacuums, hospital beds, ambulance cots, other medical equipment and much more. Please see our Shark Wheel Industrial Products section below to learn more.

I am a passionate entrepreneur whose mission is to enhance mobility and make lives better.  I invite you to join my mission, become a part of the company, and join the revolution that is Shark Wheel. Help us reinvent the wheel and together we will change the future of transportation.

2. Central Pivot Irrigation (Farming)

Developing wheel with one of the industry leaders. Over 4ft. tall prototype that was tested in the corn fields of Nebraska. Retail prices are $1,000 per wheel. Early estimated annual revenue $10+ million per year. This is a very rough assumption based on current data of selling over 16,000 wheels annually comparable to the leading technologies in the market. Shark Wheels were built for this industry to solve the issue of digging trenches. In testing to date, Shark Wheels pushed the soil to center, instead of digging a hole like a circular wheel. Agriculture is among the largest industries in the world. Shark Wheel anticipates this market being the highest grossing market it will ever enter. Click below to view video of the Shark Wheel working in corn fields in the midwest.

3. Ambulance Cots

Developing wheel with one of the industry leaders. Licensing deal. Prototype version 1.0 complete, currently going through testing.

4. Pallet Jack

Developing wheel with one of the industry leaders. Prototypes completed. Currently being tested. After luggage in Q4 2017, pallet jack wheels are expected to be the next market entry point for Shark Wheel. Early estimates at:  $3.0M+ gross revenue per year for 6'' wheel. 125,000 wheels annually is the current number our partner in the industry has discussed with us for 6'' wheels only. 125,000 wheels gives Shark Wheel approximately $3M in gross revenue annually. $5M gross revenue per year for 4'' wheel. $5M gross revenue per year for drive wheel. These are rough assumptions based on current data and the current plan in place to manufacture in this industry (as opposed to licensing).

5. Manual Wheelchairs

Developing wheel in-house for a 2017 product launch. Front caster. Prototype version 1.0 completed. Working on version 2.0. Shark Wheel will conform to most standard attachments within the industry. Another innovation regarding the bearing is currently in development and is not ready for public disclosure. Kickstarter campaign will launch in 2017.

6. Hospital Beds

Developing wheel with one of the industry leaders. Licensing deal.

7. Zero Turn Mower (Lawn and Garden)

Developing wheel with one of the industry leaders. Only manufacturer we are working with. Makes the majority of the wheels in this industry. Licensing deal. Signed term sheet at 8% royalty. Early estimates are tens of thousands of wheels annually, which is information provided from our partner immersed in the market.

8. Casters

Developing wheel with one of the industry leaders. Massive market, countless types of industrial equipment. Various sizes and iterations. Licensing deal.

9. Powered Wheelchairs

Developing wheel with one of the industry leaders. Licensing deal at 8%. Early estimates from our partner in this industry at 225,000 wheels in year one.

10. Forklift

Developing wheel with one of the industry leaders. Early stages.

Shark Wheel has been fortunate enough to be overwhelmed with opportunity. After airing on Shark Tank and the Discovery Channel, the company has been inundated with requests from industry leaders to develop a Shark Wheel for their industry. They are not only interested in differentiation, they are eager to have a better performing product that will increase their market share. Shark Wheel seeks investment funds to expedite the above markets and to begin work on other markets that are waiting in line.

Design & Advantages

Skinny Footprint / Wide Profile

The Shark Wheel has the benefits of a thin wheel and a wide wheel in one shape. The infographic seen here shows how the Shark Wheel has the skinny footprint of the thin wheel combined with the wide profile of the large wheel.

Thin circular wheels

Low friction, fast, maneuverable, easy to swivel.

Wide circular wheels:

Off-road ability, load-capacity, lateral grip, longevity.

Shark Wheels:

Low friction, fast, maneuverable, easy to swivel.

Off-road ability, load-capacity, lateral grip, longevity.

Industrial Wheel Advantage

Heat - Failure Points

Wheels typically fail in industrial sectors due to heat. Whether its friction, load, or an embedded nail, the failure points become heat-related. Shark Wheels have built-in heat vents that allow heat to escape. A traditional wheel attempts to steamroll over objects - this allows for small objects to become embedded into the wheel and for additional friction and therefore heat to build up leading to failure. Shark Wheel's natural design allows for heat to escape, thereby increasing the life of the wheel.

Military Advantages

Aquatic Ability

Amphibious vehicles do not receive propulsion from their wheels. Shark Wheels aim to change that. Traditional wheels simply spin in water and do not provide any forward thrust. Shark Wheel's natural design digs into the water left and right, much like a freestyle swimmer. The alternating movements of the wheel would create the first amphibious vehicle capable of wheel propulsion. This is just one example of many for a Shark Wheel military application. This is a future application Shark Wheel would like to build with the aid of grant funding for the Department of Defense, DARPA, or another government agency.

Shark Wheel World Champions

Use of Funds

Shark Wheel Industrial Products

Although there appears to be a countless variety of wheels in the world, many markets overlap. For example, once we finish the development of the ambulance cot wheel we will be able to sign licensing deals for wheelchairs, casters, lawnmowers, hospital beds, strollers and numerous other markets. They all use the same wheel. Investment funds will immediately be used to accelerate the development of wheels across industries.  The future of the company lies in exploiting our patent into as many markets as possible. This is the primary use of funds. To be more specific, Shark Wheel will change the current model that it uses to bring a wheel to market. Shark Wheel currently signs a term sheet and a prototyping contract with each company to secure prototyping funds. It uses these funds to develop a wheel and send to the company for testing. We have learned that many companies do not have the proper testing facilities and procedures in place to test the wheels in an efficient and timely manner. With the investment funds, Shark Wheel will contract a 3rd party to handle all prototype testing. It will report directly to Shark Wheel and provide scientific and real world data. Shark Wheel will then sign contracts with each company after it is confident that the wheel is ready to enter the market. This gives Shark Wheel the ability to be proactive about its wheel development across industries. It will also greatly expedite the testing phase of each wheel.

Calit2

Calit2, which is an Institute for Science and Innovation located on the University of California, Irvine campus, will be the testing facility for Shark Wheel. The 120,000-square-foot building includes state-of-the-art labs that brings together over 100 companies as partners that Calit2 can leverage for real world testing. The testing will consist of three phases:  machine testing, real world testing, and drafting of a scientific report. Shark Wheel is located 20 minutes away from the Calit2 headquarters, which will make for a streamlined process.

Shark Wheel will also use investment money to fund inventory purchases. The purchase of wheels, trucks, decks, and bearings is essential to growing the skateboard divisions of the company.

Shark Wheel Strategy - The Domino Effect

R&D

Shark Wheel has primarily been a Research and Development company since 2014. Entering the skateboarding industry was the ‘low-hanging-fruit’. It was a market with a low barrier to entry, a market in which consumers purchased wheels as a standalone item, and a market to act as a proof of concept. Shark Wheel proved the interest in the market and that the wheel is truly high-performance by winning several international competitions. Entering the skateboarding industry was also a way for Shark Wheel to pay the bills early on. Initially, it was a necessity for Shark Wheel to prototype various wheel sizes in different industries. There was much to learn about how a sine wave shaped wheel works under load, while swiveling, with different amplitudes and frequencies, and in various sizes and iterations. Shark Wheel had to prove though scientific testing and real-world testing that the shape worked well and using certain factors, outperformed the circular wheel.

Completed Product

Shark Wheel believes that its skateboard wheel, longboard wheel, luggage wheel and pallet jack wheel are finished products. Shark Wheel plans to extrapolate its current designs to enter other similar industries. There will not be a need to continue prototyping any further for these congruent uses. For example, now that Shark Wheel completed its luggage wheel, it feels confident it can immediately license its technology to an office chair company without the need for further prototyping. The wheels in these industries are very similar and Shark Wheel plans to sign paperwork with all conceivable industries that would use an approximate 58mm wheel in a similar configuration. Even industries that scale up or down the size of the wheel in a similar configuration would work as well. Shark Wheel plans to sign licensing deals with scooter companies and other industries that use wheels similar to skateboard wheels. There would be no delay here either, as the design is considered final. No further prototyping is necessary.

The same can be said for pallet jack wheels. Any industrial application that uses a remotely similar wheel is ready for market with a Shark Wheel. The markets are vast in the industrial sector. Once Shark Wheel finishes prototyping its ambulance cot wheel, the market possibilities open up greatly. Dozens of industries use this particular configuration and Shark Wheel plans to exploit the completed design in as many industries as possible, as quickly as possible.

Domino Effect

There appears to be countless markets that use a wheel. In fact, there are over 100 products in the industrial sector alone. It is important to note that Shark Wheel does not need to prototype for each use. As explained above, once key wheel sizes and/or configurations are prototyped a flood gate of markets opens for licensing deals. It is difficult to forecast Shark Wheel’s revenue with any accuracy because licensing deals are expected to fall like dominos once each key wheel size is complete. The initial four wheel configurations are complete and three more are expected to finish by the end of 2017. Additionally, once the public sees the Shark Wheel on the many products about to reach the market, other companies will move swiftly to add the cutting-edge technology to their product line. Shark Wheel believes it is on the precipice of an explosion.

Strategy

Shark Wheel will not have large capital requirements using this strategy. It will primarily be a licensing entity. The following list is a summary of Shark Wheel’s strategy moving forward.

Brand

  • Skateboarding and roller skating are the only markets that Shark Wheel will build a brand, manufacture and warehouse inventory.

Licensing Agreements

  • Shark Wheel will license its technology to the vast majority of industries.
  • Shark Wheel will license to companies that have specific testing requirements.
  • One example is the ambulance cot company (name withheld for disclosure purposes). They requires high-level medical testing equipment and Shark Wheel will not do any forms of additional testing.
  • Markets in which the wheel is assembled at the same factory as the final product.
  • One example is Athalon (name included because deal is signed). Luggage is assembled at one factory.
  • Industries that do not have a replacement wheel market.
  • One example is strollers. Consumers do not replace their stroller wheels.
  • Shark Wheel will license its technology to companies

Manufacturing

  • Shark Wheel will only manufacture under certain conditions.
  • Each company must agree to warehouse Shark Wheel’s manufactured product in order for Shark Wheel to sign a Master Supply Agreement.
  • Shark Wheel will not obtain large facilities to warehouse large amounts of inventory.
  • Shark Wheel aims to work primarily with #1 or #2 in each market and sign an exclusive agreement.
  • Shark Wheel will determine on a case-by-case basis if it is more advantageous to manufacture or license.
  • Shark Wheel will arrange terms with the manufacturer so Shark Wheel does not need to float funds for inventory purchases.

Scientific Product Testing

Test I - San Diego State University

Background

The Shark Wheel has been scientifically tested at the San Diego State University Mechanical Engineering Department.

In apples-to-apples testing, The Shark Wheel was found to have a 15% longevity and 15% speed advantage. Also, frictional tests were performed and some of the data is seen below showing a significant advantage compared to a traditional wheel.

Testing Equipment

Tests were performed and the testing rig (seen above) was designed and constructed by a team of engineering students at San Diego University, Mechanical Engineering Department. Tests are ongoing through December 2017. The testing rig is currently undergoing upgrades to accommodate larger size wheels.

The dynamic testing outlined in the following report was conducted at approximately 720rpms(17mph).

Test I/A: Rolling Resistance

(Time it takes the motor to reach full speed)

Test I/B: Rough Surface Rolling Resistance

(Off Road Capabilities)

Conclusion Test I

At a load of 30lbs the Shark Wheel demonstrated an average of 35.52% less rolling resistance at speeds ranging from 0-650rpms (approx.  15.5mph).
When loaded to 45lbs (per wheel) the Shark Wheel demonstrated 60.92% less rolling resistance.

Rolling resistance, also called rolling friction, is an important factor in many industries.

Test II - Conducted by Major Wheel Manufacturer

Another scientific test done by the largest skateboard wheel manufacturer in the world. They compared Shark Wheel to the leading wheels in the market in an apples-to-apples test. Same diameter, same durometer (hardness), same material.

Conclusion Test II

The Shark Wheel showed a 15% rebound advantage. Rebound translates directly to speed. In the abrasion resistance test, Shark Wheel demonstrated a significant advantage as well. The lower the number in the abrasion resistance graph, the better it performed.

Additional Testing

In separate testing at a Canadian test facility, the Shark Wheel exhibited a longevity/wear advantage.

Tests performed by the German tv show, Galileo (similar to the Discovery Channel), found advantages in rolling resistance and off-road performance. The episode aired in December 2016.

Company History

The Shark Wheel was invented by David Patrick. The sine wave shape was a repeating pattern that David discovered all throughout nature and is nature's preferred choice of motion. The sine wave can be seen in how snakes slither, fish and sharks swim, how the planets rotate around the sun, and even how humans walk with an alternating gait. The Shark Wheel name came from the wheel's identical shape to a shark's jaw (picture seen near top of campaign).

Shark Wheel launched through a Kickstarter campaign in June of 2013. Shark Wheel’s fundraising goal of $10,000 was reached in 72hrs, finishing with $79,300 in a 30 day run. After the successful campaign, it took the company 7 months to solve the molding issues that prevented mass production. It was one thing to reinvent the wheel, then the company had to reinvent the mold, which is now patent pending.

Shark Wheel is able to pay the same price per wheel as any other wheel company. There is no price penalty or time penalty for any company choosing to use Shark Wheel products. For a company to violate Shark Wheel’s patent and produce Shark Wheels in mass production successfully would be a massive undertaking that would prevent any copycat manufacturers.

Patents and Trademarks

Shark Wheel is patent pending in multiple countries including the United States. Investment funds will be used to continue to strengthen the existing patent. Funds will also be used to file more patents for new innovations and iterations. The inventor and CTO, David Patrick, already has next-generation versions of the Shark Wheel ready to be patented. Before prototyping and release, the first course of action would be filing a patent to achieve a patent pending status. Shark Wheel version 2.0 patent will be filed with investment funds. Pictures are not available at this time, as version 2.0 pictures released publicly before the filing date would violate the right to patent.

Shark Wheel already has one issued trademark in the United States for skateboard and roller skate wheels. Other trademarks are pending in many industries including forklifts, pallet jacks, medical equipment, wheelchairs and others.

Season Finale Sneak Peek: Reinventing the Wheel
May 15, 2015

David Patrick and Zack Fleishman of Shark Wheel claim they've reinvented the wheel -- seriously. They say their version rolls faster with more grip.

This Guy Reinvented the Wheel ... by Turning It Into a Cubecle Here
June 10, 2013

What's better at being a wheel than ... a wheel? That is not a rhetorical question or a Zen kōan or the start to an awesome joke (sorry). Inventor David Patrick, an avid skateboarder, stumbled (or, you know, skated) onto a way to reinvent the wheel as something that he claims is better than the tradition cylindrical model -- something faster, more stable, and more ground-gripping. Its inspiration, Patrick says, "came from a cube." He calls his creation the "SharkWheel," and he has patented the invention

COO of Shark Wheel: Zack Fleishman
May 2, 2017

Sometimes the world of business can be like shark infested waters. It can be highly competitive with fierce ambition of budding entrepreneurs seeking success. Our newest Business Leader has proven that with hard work, unrelenting tenacity, and faith in ones product, one really can re-invent the wheel. Meet Zack Fleishman, the successful entrepreneur who is COO of Shark Wheel, the latest innovation in wheel technology that has changed the way we will roll forever.

Reinvented Wheel Is A Square
June 10, 2013

Could square wheels give you a better ride? One new project on Kickstarter is looking to fund the manufacture of sets of weirdly shaped wheels for skateboards. The design is based on a square, but tilted in a third dimension so that the squares actually roll in a smooth line. The project is popular: Five days after its launch, it's already exceeded its $10,000 goal.

'SHARK TANK' BUSINESS FROM LAKE FOREST REINVENTS THE WHEEL
May 15, 2015

Business partners David Patrick and Zack Fleishman are the minds behind the company Shark Wheel, a new take on skateboard wheels, using shapes found in nature. Patrick, a longtime skateboarder, says he stumbled on the design while working on a different project. He says the unique shape moves the way a fish swims or a snake slithers. Put the new wheels on a skateboard and he says it provides speed and better grip. "When you encounter a rock or a small object, we kick it left or right or we go straight over it, and that's a real big deal in the industry," Patrick said. In just a year on the market, Shark Wheel has gained support from crowdfunding, investors and major stores carrying their product.

Shark Wheel Reinvents The Wheel, Raises $30K And Counting For Square Skateboard Wheel
June 12, 2013

Amid the hullabaloo around Apple’s WWDC and the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo this week, it can be easy to overlook some of our oldest, yet most essential, technologies. Take the wheel for example. Sure, it works great, but it’s used the same boring round design for thousands of years. Isn’t it about time an update? The wheels of the future won’t have just one shape; they'll have three, according to Shark Wheel, a California company that says it has literally reinvented the wheel. The Shark Wheel is a perfect circle, a perfect cube and a perfect sine wave.

SHARK WHEEL: REINVENTING THE WHEEL
October 1, 2016

AFTER 5,500 YEARS, ONE MAN CLAIMS TO HAVE IMPROVED ON OUR GREATEST INVENTION—BY TURNING IT INTO A SQUARE. Teaming up with former tennis pro turned businessman Zack Fleishman, he raised almost $80,000 on Kickstarter before walking away from entrepreneurial reality show Shark Tank in 2015 with another $225,000. The Shark Wheel had scored its first bite.

L.A. Skateboard Company Reinvents the Wheel. Literally.
September 26, 2013

Their appeal becomes clear when, with a quick turn to the left, Patrick finds himself facing a crack in the lot, with tufts of grass and pieces of loose gravel. While this uneven terrain would be enough to make any rider flinch, Patrick tackles the patch, clearing it effortlessly. Stopping the board and picking it up, Patrick announces, "See, that's the benefit of the Shark Wheel."

The wheel reinvented as a SQUARE: Skateboarder raises $30,000 in 10 days to produce cube-shaped wheels he claims are faster and provide better handling
June 12, 2013

Shark Wheels are made up of three, helical-shaped strips that, when rolling, form a sine wave pattern when they make contact with the ground. This pattern allows the wheel to roll faster than a traditional round wheel, the company claims, and provides better handling on rough, wet terrain.

Squarish Wheels over Round Wheels?!
April 13, 2017

All our life if there’s one stereotype that has been emblazoned into our minds, it’s that the wheel is round. Right from those caveman cartoons, all the way till our fastest race-vehicle, the wheel may have changed in material and size (also becoming hubless), it still always remains round. Well, forget all that now, because according to designer David M. Patrick, the perfect wheel isn’t circular, but rather a scientifically calibrated blend of the circle, square, and the sine-wave.

The Company That Reinvented the Wheel
May 10, 2015

Although the wheel was purportedly invented back around 3500 B.C., its basic form hasn’t really evolved all that much. It’s still round, it still rolls, and most of us are just fine with that. Improve it? Not possible. As the old saying goes, “You don’t have to reinvent the wheel.” And then along came David Patrick.

September 15, 2016

David has come up with a mathematically-balanced design that is based on a cube, and upon testing, they found that not only did the Shark Wheel roll, it rolled better. The wheel not only has a better grip on the ground but rolls faster and longer, and will roll over virtually any terrain.

Shark Wheel meets ‘Shark Tank’: Lake Forest company reinvents the wheel, gets on TV show
May 1, 2015

Instead of acting like a steamroller, plowing over a surface, the Shark Wheel’s alternating grooves channel debris out of the way and provide more grip than a traditional wheel

Where To Buy Shark Wheel From 'Shark Tank,' Because You Need To See These Square-Shaped Wheels In Action
May 15, 2015

You know how people say, "You don't have to reinvent the wheel," meaning that you shouldn't waste time trying to achieve something that has already been done for you? This is a very common saying because it's usually true, but did you ever stop to wonder what would happen if you did actually try to reinvent the wheel? Perhaps it could be even better than the one some caveman or cavewoman invented. That may be the case with the Shark Wheel, which appears on Shark Tank during Friday night's Season 6 finale

SHARK WHEEL
April 2, 2017

It looks like a square or cube rolling from the side, but from the rear view looks like a snake or three-dimensional sine wave in motion. The Shark Wheel is a revolutionary wheel design that offers superior performance advantages.

Shark Wheel Disbursing More Funds From Start Engine Campaign

Shark Wheel LLC has exceeded their minimum funding goal and will continue to accept investments through November 3, 2017.

Per their offering terms, and because their equity crowdfunding campaign has now exceeded the minimum funding goal, Shark Wheel LLC has decided to conduct a closing on November 1, 2017. If your funds have cleared you will have up until 48 hours prior to this closing to cancel your investment. If your funds have not yet cleared by this date, then you will be part of the next closing if and when your funds do clear.

This is standard language meant to say that we will be withdrawing a portion of the funds in 5 business days from the campaign.

Installation begins this week. industrial.

Shark Wheel will enter many markets, many of which the public will never see. Here is one example of a market we are entering this week. If you haven't yet realized, these markets are not pie-in-the-sky industries we hope to be in one day. We are entering multiple markets right now.

Shark Wheel is now part of cleantech energy partnering with Mobismart (www.Mobismart.ca) and their Clean Power Trailer.
Technically speaking, the Shark Wheel Traction Tire is used as the key component in the Starwind5 generator set housing Traction Drive to eliminate harmonic intersects from different components to run vibration free.

In plain English, the Shark Wheel works better than a traditional wheel for this application! It has already been tested to last longer in this device as well.

Here is a picture of the Shark Wheel in Mobismart's vertical axis wind turbine. The company shared the picture with us and it is purposefully difficult to see the inner mechanisms and the device in general. Once the patents have been completed, we will be able to release more detailed pictures. There are 3 Shark Wheels per machine.

Amending our Securities Offering

Hello! Recently, a change was made to the Shark Wheel offering. Here's an excerpt describing the specifics of that change:

Shark Wheel is extending the end date of their campaign until November 3rd, 2017.

When live offerings undergo changes like these on StartEngine, the SEC requires that certain investments be reconfirmed. If your investment requires reconfirmation, you will be contacted by StartEngine via email with further instructions.

Campaign Extended

As previously mentioned, Shark Wheel will extend its campaign for a short period of time.

November 3rd appears to be the last day to invest. We wanted to extend for a shorter time frame, but Start Engine strongly recommended that we add a few days to account for investors to reconfirm their investment. That means everyone who invested and whose funds have not yet finished processing will have to reconfirm their investment by clicking a button on a follow up email from Start Engine. It only takes a moment to click reconfirm.

Extending the Campaign and More Updates Coming Soon

Shark Wheel is likely going to extend the campaign for a short period of time. Within a couple of days we will make the final decision, but the plan is to extend the campaign to October 29th. That would be the final date and Shark Wheel would not do another extension.

Shark Wheel has so many exciting updates coming in the very near future. Updates relating to farming wheels, roller skates, mass market skateboard sales, scooters, big box retail accounts, pet toys, pallet jack wheels, wheelchairs, luggage and so much more. We can't get into all of the details when the deals have not yet been consummated, but they are coming!

Join the Shark Wheel Team before the campaign is over...

An earlier update mentioned Shark Wheel's MOU with PISCES. It is yet another awesome opportunity that allows Shark Wheel the ability to expand into planetary rovers. See the signed MOU below.

PISCES (Pacific International Space Center for Exploration Systems) is a Government Aerospace Agency.

New Launches and Tax Benefits

Shark Wheel is releasing its wheelchair wheel into the market within a few weeks. We are targeting an end-of-October launch, although it may be a few days after that. We are reinventing the front wheels, which is the first point of contact for wheelchair users when they encounter an obstacle. The launch will be through a Kickstarter campaign, make sure to share it with everyone you know when it launches. Our aim to is give wheelchairs users a better wheel that not only looks cool, but actually performs better. We plan to give you a sneak peek of the campaign in the coming days.

Shark Wheel is releasing its luggage into the market for the first time around the exact same time frame as the wheelchair wheel. Shark Wheel has signed a licensing agreement with Athalon luggage. The launch will be through a Kickstarter campaign as well. Athalon will be putting Shark Wheels onto business overnight bags, three different luggage sizes under the Sky Valet brand, Harley Davidson luggage, Samsonite golf luggage, and more. The first launch in a few weeks will be for multiple sizes of its smart luggage including GPS tracking, built-in scale, USB charging, one-touch opening, bluetooth locking...and of course Shark Wheels. We hope to have a sneak peek posted here for you as well.

Shark Wheel is planning on switching to a Delaware C-Corp on January 1, 2018. This is the current plan. As move to profitability next year as we expect, it will be advantageous for all investors for us to change to a C-Corp. One of the biggest advantages is if Shark Wheels sells the company after maintaining C-Corp status for a minimum of 5 years, 100% of the investment returns will be tax free. This is under IRS code 1202 and will benefit all investors greatly. We sell the entire company and no one gets taxed.

Shark Wheel Jr. Brand at a Store Near You!

After 3 years of building the Shark Wheel brand in the high-end of the market, we feel we have established the Shark Wheel as a high-performance, premium brand.

But, now we are looking forward to the launch of the Shark Wheel Jr. brand into the mass market. We think it is of the utmost importance to introduce kids at a young age to the Shark Wheel. The price point will allow millions of kids to experience the Shark Wheel.

  • Just entered 170 Toys R Us locations.
  • Will enter hundreds of Walmart locations by Black Friday (November 24th, 2017). We have in-aisle point of purchase displays to show off the product. This is premium placement. They will reorder in December.
  • Our e-commerce partner has just purchased thousands of skateboards from us to be sold for the holiday season. They will reorder in December.
  • Our first entry point into the mass market is with KaZAM. They are another Shark Tank company and we make a powerhouse team moving forward.
  • Shark Wheel is launching its in-house mass market brand, called Fathom, that will be first sold online in the coming weeks.

Enjoy our quick video below showing the advantages of the Shark Wheel Jr. brand. In the video you will see Shark Wheel pushing pebbles left and right as they roll. You will see the wheel going over water, sand, dirt, gravel and even snow. It is important to show the safety aspects of the wheel, especially to parents looking to buy the product for their kids. We have hundreds of verified-purchase Amazon reviews attesting to the Shark Wheel's all-terrain abilities.

Shark Wheel Disbursing More Funds From Start Engine Campaign

Shark Wheel LLC has exceeded their minimum funding goal and will continue to accept investments through October 17, 2017.

Per their offering terms, and because their equity crowdfunding campaign has now exceeded the minimum funding goal, Shark Wheel LLC has decided to conduct a closing on October 5 2017. If your funds have cleared you will have up until 48 hours prior to this closing to cancel your investment. If your funds have not yet cleared by this date, then you will be part of the next closing if and when your funds do clear.

This is standard language meant to say that we will be withdrawing a portion of the funds next week from the campaign.

Shark Wheel Closes Another Deal

Another deal in the skateboarding industry closed for Shark Wheel today.

It is a $100,000 rush order in time for Black Friday and the Holiday Season. This account is massive and should be a multi-million dollar account next year. The account is interested in Shark Wheel for skateboards, roller skates, scooters and other similar products.

Shark Wheel is in the last stages of development on a Shark Wheel outdoor roller skate wheel. This is the biggest segment of the roller skate market and will be a full Shark Wheel shape. After finishing the wheel within a few weeks, Shark Wheel will scale up its design for the scooter industry.

Shark Wheel Large Skateboard Account....and New Way to Make Money From Shark Wheel Investment.

Shark Wheel has just secured an order from one of the biggest e-commerce companies in the United States. The deal is over $150,000. A second, larger order, is already committed before the end of the year. Depending on the payment structure and payment date, the larger order may or may not wind up in the 2017 revenue. Shark Wheel expects this one account to approach $3 million in sales in 2018. The exciting part is that the skateboarding market is anticipated to be the smallest industry Shark Wheel ever enters into.

On another note, we have received many inquiries on how an investor would make money off of a Shark Wheel investment. Here is a list below:

  1. When Shark Wheel has excess funds to disburse, all investors will receive monetary disbursements according to the amount of units (shares) they own in the company. This will be determined on an annual basis. As Shark Wheel thrives, the likelihood of every investor receiving a check in the mail every year grows rapidly.
  2. If Shark Wheel takes the company public.
  3. If Shark Wheel sells subsidiaries of the company. That means Shark Wheel has the ability to sell just its luggage division, as an example. All investors would be paid and still own 99% of the other Shark Wheel industries.
  4. Shark Wheel sells the entire company.
  5. A unique way for an investor to make money from a Shark Wheel investment is by using the secondary market. Start Engine has just opened up the secondary market portal and it is in Beta testing. This is a massive step forward for investors to make money. The technology to sell your ownership in the company has just been launched. I am told that it just launched days ago, so the secondary market is in its infancy. You can visit StartEngine.com/secondary to see the absolute beginning. The idea is to list your units in Shark Wheel and put them up for sale for anyone to buy. We would strongly recommend holding onto your ownership for a bare minimum of one year because the valuation of Shark Wheel should rise dramatically. But, it does give you a platform to sell, which has never been possible before.

Unique Look=Product Differentiation vs Performance Advantage=Staying Power

Although Shark Wheel plans to be on toys, its primary focus is entering markets where it has a distinct advantage. In the central pivot irrigation industry, Shark Wheel is developing a wheel that solves a major issue. Traditional wheels dig a trench in the soil over the course of a farming season. Whereas a traditional wheel slowly pushes the soil away from center with each successive revolution around the farm, the Shark Wheel does the opposite. The first Shark Wheel moves similar to a snake in a right-left-right motion. The wheel behind it is placed 'out-of-phase', meaning it lays a footprint opposite to the wheel in front in a left-right-left pattern. This creates a DNA shape in the soil where each turn of the wheel attempts to push the soil to the center, eliminating the trench-digging issue that plagues the industry. A version 2.0 wheel is planned for the next farming season to conduct further testing.

Entering the toy market and other similar markets where product differentiation is key (and not necessarily performance) is a way for Shark Wheel to expose children at a young age to the unique shape, enter large markets for added revenue, and make the shape ubiquitous around the world.

For staying power and long-lasting revenue streams, Shark Wheel will place a good deal of effort in industrial applications where it will not be a victim of fads/hot products that have a limited life span.

Shark Wheels on Mars? Planetary Rovers? Plus More.

Planetary Rovers

Shark Wheel is excited to announce it has signed an MOU with the Pacific International Space Center for Exploration Systems (PISCES). PISCES is a Hawaii State government aerospace agency that conducts field testing to validate advanced space technologies. The agency has directed various field tests on Hawaii Island using robotic rovers built for planetary exploration, working with organizations like NASA and the CSA. Hawaii’s volcanic terrain closely resembles the basaltic surfaces found on the Moon and Mars, providing an ideal environment for testing spacecraft systems.

Shark Wheel plans to secure funding to support a PISCES-led field test for planetary rover sine wave wheels on Hawaii Island. NASA is interested in incorporating innovative new wheel designs into future planetary rovers to improve performance in the harsh environments of other planets. Premature wheel degradation is an ongoing concern for NASA’s Mars rovers. Shark Wheel is seeking to develop a wheel with better traction and longer lifespan to meet this challenge.

Maximum Raise Extended to $1 million

Hi everyone,

Shark Wheel has completed its 3rd party CPA review and is open again for investments. The maximum ceiling has been raised.

We are told international investors will be able to invest starting at some point on Friday, but it could be as late as Monday.

There are two new updates to share and we will release the first piece of information in the next few days.

The first bit of info centers around planetary rover wheels and the second piece of information centers around friction drive wind turbines. The wind turbine update will likely come in a few weeks, while the rover wheel update should be posted within a few days.

GOAL!

Hi everyone,

We are thrilled and humbled to say we hit our initial $100,0000 goal in about 60 hours. We are excited to have all new team members that will be rooting for Shark Wheel's success. And for all of the people following the campaign, that have not invested yet, we hope to have you on board as well to share in the exciting times.

  • Shark Wheel will be increasing its investment maximum sometime next week. We are waiting for the 3rd party CPA review to be completed before we are allowed (by law) to increase our maximum amount.
  • People can still invest now even though the numbers appear to have stopped at the $100,000 mark.
  • International investors will be allowed to invest when we increase our maximum next week.
  • Help us get the word out! The investment minimum ($250) opens the door for many people to come on board.

Here is the link to share:  www.startengine.com/startup/sharkwheel

Once the campaign is over, Shark Wheel will be patenting another version of its wheel. Unfortunately, if we post a picture of the wheel in the public domain we are no longer able to patent it. So, everyone will be seeing it soon!

Help us keep the momentum going on this campaign by posting on social media or sharing the link with your friends by email.Thank you for helping to reinvent the wheel!
