Over $400,000 Invested
Another thank you to all of our investors who have pushed PlantSnap over the $400,000 milestone!
With less than 2 months left to become a part of PlantSnap, we'd like to share this kind note from one of our investors about the PlantSnap opportunity:
Eric (& Team),
In a world full of negativity, I thought I would send you and your team a quick note to say how excited I am to be a part of PlantSnap! This app is literally the kind of thing (ie, THE thing) I dreamed of as a kid … “If only there was a way to just know what this flower is … Oh, or, what that flower over there is. Sigh, maybe someday in the future.”
Imagine my surprise when I first read about PlantSnap, did a little research, watched the video (Hey, Eric’s brother!) and decided I needed PlantSnap in my life. In the past few years, it has been awesome to see how the app has matured, expanded and continued to push the boundaries of a truly awesome use of technology for non-technological interests. Due to circumstances at the time, I wasn’t able to be a part of the first StartEngine campaign (wayyy back), so I am beyond stoked to have had another chance to invest – even just a little bit – into a group of awesome people working on an amazing suite of products.
Looking forward to what comes next!
- Gregory A.
Thank you to Gregory and to ALL of our current and future investors. Please continue to spread the word as there are only two months left to become a part of PlantSnap!
New Partnership Announcement in 64 Days
PlantSnap's partnership opportunities continue!
Our current partnerships start this month with the BGCI and APGA . These two organizations and their 1,200 botanical garden members will actively encourage visitors to download PlantSnap and participate in our Citizen Scientist project to map every plant species on earth by 2022.
These beautiful gardens boast over 700 Million visitors every year and will be working with us hand-in-hand to install PlantSnap on the mobile device of every visitor.
And now PlantSnap has inked another, new partnership agreement...this time with a fellow tech company!
Alas, we cannot announce anything more for now, but rest assured this partnership is going to be more fuel for immediate growth this spring as we build upon our already massive 30 Million plus downloads.
The new partnership will be announced10 days after the StartEngine campaign ends, so there has never been a better time to invest!
PlantSnap back on Television
We were thrilled to learn that ABC affiliate KATC in Louisiana included PlantSnap in a special report about must-have mobile apps!
Please take a moment to watch KATC's "Abby's Apps" with host Abby Breidenbach as she explains the wonders of PlantSnap:
The media has been very kind to PlantSnap and our app's credibility has never been higher.
Thank you to Abby, KATC, and all of those in the media who continue to champion PlantSnap!
PlantSnap Social tops 535,000 in January
The growth of the PlantSnap social component continues to impress as we now have over 500,000 unique users per month in that area alone. The amount of unique users has doubled every month since the November rollout...amazing!
By giving users yet another reason to open PlantSnap, we are able to keep our retention rates above our mobile app peers. Learn more about retention, why it is important, and how PlantSnap is the envy of the mobile app world here:
All the best,
