2 weeks left to invest!

Our equity crowdfunding campaign here on StartEngine ends in 14 days!

Starting at just $200, you can fund the most efficient mode of travel with an electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft that's affordable, compact, green, and fast.

Why we believe solo travel is the future of commuting

73% of commuters travel solo — so we built a personal eVTOL aircraft perfect for commuting. And ZEVA is bringing personal air transportation to everyone with an affordable, electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft called the ZERO.

We believe this will be the fastest way to get anywhere within a 50-mile radius, by traveling over 160 miles per hour. Join our team to fund the most efficient mode of travel with a massive reduction of commute times and a cleaner, more beautiful environment for everyone.

Historic first test flight a huge success!

On Sunday, Jan. 9, ZEVA successfully achieved its first controlled, untethered flight test for its full-scale ZEVA ZERO flying wing airframe utilizing its eight zero-emission electric propellers. This critical milestone is a huge inflection point on ZEVA’s path to achieving FAA airworthiness certification.

Watch video of the taxiing flight test here:

Up next, ZEVA will continue taxiing flight tests, and advance to low-altitude hover testing this spring before moving to transition flight testing, which will fine-tune the unique Superman-like trajectory of the aircraft design.

Don’t miss out: There are less than three weeks left to invest in the future of personal air transportation.

01.12.22

Why does ZEVA's aircraft look like a flying saucer?

The ZEVA ZERO is clearly a unique vehicle. Wondering why we chose that “flying saucer” design for our aircraft?

When Team ZEVA set out to design the ZERO, we knew we needed to solve two big problems:

(1) generating enough lift to give the aircraft a 50 mile range while staying compact enough to land anywhere

(2) maintaining stability while transitioning from hover to cruise.

While researching many possible configurations, the round wing became the clear choice. CEO Stephen Tibbitts explains more of the story, and the science, behind the round wing on our blog

01.07.22

Less than 30 days left to invest!

Our equity crowdfunding campaign here on StartEngine ends in just 26 days!

Now is your chance to help open up the third dimension for short-range travel with ZERO: an affordable, personal, electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft. We believe this will be the fastest way to get anywhere within a 50-mile radius by traveling over 160 miles per hour. Starting at just $200, you can fund the most efficient mode of travel with a massive reduction in commute times and a cleaner, more beautiful environment for all.

Hello. I have a few questions: 1)What are your revenue goals for the first 5 years once you pivot to the consumer space? 2)What happens if you run out of battery mid air? 3)How do you avoid collisions? If every household has a ZEVA like you hope there will be air traffic eventually. Will the government just allow it without heavy regulations, licenses, etc? A crash in the air will very likely be fatal to occupants and to people below as well.

Hi Stephen, I have some questions: 1. Edward mentioned lightning strikes, and you indicated the body has protection, what about for the operator looking through the leading edge canopy, are they protected, or should you wait/land if in a storm? 2. Similarly if a wind storm arises, with 20-30 mph winds, will you still be able to fly, and how much extra commute time would be added if they are headwinds? 3. Wind can be a safety issue for first responders near wildfires, do your vehicle systems have capabilities to combat this? 4. What protections are/will be provided against theft and vandalism, especially the more vulnerable landing gear? 5. Will addressing question 4. mean that municipalities and businesses would need to build secure garage/charging buildings for your vehicles? Have you investigated how amiable they would be to doing this? Thanks, Steve Y.

It looks like this is a single person design so only one first responder with limited equipment arrives at the scene? Good for immediate medical treatment but cannot transport a victim. During horizontal flight is the pilot lying face down? What are the advantages of the saucer shape over competing eVTOLs?

What’s the difference between minimum investment of $200 and minimum offering of $10,000? Is offering for stock in the company? And investment has no stock?

Hello, 1. So what safety provisions do you have for flying into inclement weather? 2. How will the battery or circuitry respond in an atmosphere charged by lightening? 3. Will or Can the craft self/auto adjust if caught up in crosswinds or drafts? 4. Have you come up with (or at least thinking about it) an AI system that can run through split checks and decisions in realtime in mid flight that can take over your flight to land you safely as a mental and self preservation of the craft (like Tesla's autonomous capability) if sensors detect inability of pilot? 5. Will there be a monitoring device on board for distress signal and or a way we can have family follow the flight path or route on a phone or computer app? 6. I would love to represent by being the first disabled veteran to fly your... our craft ;) ***** I will be purchasing a piece of Zeva Aero company after you guys respond to my first 5 thoughts...... CAN'T WAIT & GOD BLESS!!!!!

I absolutely Love your disc-wing. Been in a few of those myself that were much larger classified as "UAPs". Though you'll find the electric and props components will be quickly outdated and will also run into a barrage of congressional and patent safety issues.Fifty miles is also less than a blink. You'll want to explore vehemently suppressed free clean magnetic energy, antigravity, and propulsion technologies; eye and mental control; and toroidal spacetime shift elongated and spherical wormhole technologies. Finally, never say the word, "impossible". Just because this world hasn't arrived at it, I assure that billions have. Bring me aboard as kind of a visionary team member. Love and high regard, Jeff jeffreyfoss@gmail.com

Where can I find info on charging times and requirements? If I need to travel 30 miles one way, how do I charge to get back? Thank you.

First issue: 50 mile range doesn't seem practical for air flight. What if you get there and your space is taken? Hover and down? What if you need to leave in 2 hours and your battery is 40% charged? You go 20 miles and down? Emergency landings? Second Concern: How do you control for terrorism, (i.e., flying the ZERO into a crowd or building - manned or unmanned)? How long will the FAA study this - especially potential for terrorism - before allowing mass production and sales? The plan for targeting first responders and such is wise. I see a military potential as a bypass of FAA and as a good proving ground. Unfortunately, I see few barriers to entry for competitors. This is basically a drone designed for transportation - not unique - except the idea of lying a person flat inside. Make it work!

With Regulation A+, a non-accredited investor can only invest a maximum of 10% of their annual income or 10% of their net worth per year, whichever is greater. There are no restrictions for accredited investors.

With Regulation Crowdfunding, non-accredited investors with an annual income or net worth less than $124,000, are limited to invest a maximum of 5% of the greater of those two amounts. For those with an annual income and net worth greater than $124,000, he/she is limited to investing 10% of the greater of the two amounts.

At the close of an offering, all investors whose funds have “cleared” by this time will be included in the disbursement. At this time, each investor will receive an email from StartEngine with their Countersigned Subscription Agreement, which will serve as their proof of purchase moving forward.

Please keep in mind that a company can conduct a series of “closes” or withdrawals of funds throughout the duration of the campaign. If you are included in that withdrawal period, you will be emailed your countersigned subscription agreement and proof of purchase immediately following that withdrawal.

StartEngine assists companies in raising capital, and once the offering is closed, we are no longer involved with whether the company chooses to list shares on a secondary market, or what occurs thereafter. Therefore, StartEngine has no control or insight into your investment after the close of the live offering. In addition, we are not permitted to provide financial advice. You may want to contact a financial professional to discuss possible investment outcomes.

For Regulation Crowdfunding, investors are able to cancel their investment at any point throughout the campaign up until 48 hours before the closing of the offering. Note: If the company does a rolling close, they will post an update to their current investors, giving them the opportunity to cancel during this timeframe. If you do not cancel within this 5-day timeframe, your funds will be invested in the company, and you will no longer be able to cancel the investment. If your funds show as ‘Invested’ on your account dashboard, your investment can no longer be canceled.

For Regulation A+, StartEngine allows for a four-hour cancelation period. Once the four-hour window has passed, it is up to each company to set their own cancelation policy. You may find the company’s cancelation policy in the company’s offering circular.

Once your investment is canceled, there is a 10-day clearing period (from the date your investment was submitted). After your funds have cleared the bank, you will receive your refund within 10 business days.

Refunds that are made through ACH payments can take up to 10 business days to clear. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the bank, but we will do everything we can to get you your refund as soon as possible. However, every investment needs to go through the clearing process in order to get sent back to the account associated with the investment.

Both Title III (Regulation Crowdfunding) and Title IV (Reg A+) help entrepreneurs crowdfund capital investments from unaccredited and accredited investors. The differences between these regulations are related to the investor limitations, the differing amounts of money companies are permitted to raise, and differing disclosure and filing requirements.
