TripChat allows travelers to chat with friends and family directly from the Whimstay app or website. This feature offers users the ability to share properties, react to messages, and collaborate on planning a group trip without ever having to leave the Whimstay platform.

Whimstay's Split It feature allows travelers to split the total payment for their trip between multiple individuals. Alex started his sales career 10 years ago after a successful 12 year run as a New York stage actor. In 2010 he was hired as an account executive at an early-stage Yelp. After 11 months he was transferred to the newly established Pheonix office and promoted to sales manager where he led teams ranked consistently at the top of the organization for both revenue and target attained. He was then promoted to the National sales side where he led their newly formed National Franchise Sales team for two years, before moving back to San Francisco as a team lead for the newly formed Yelp SaaS product Yelp Reservations. 

From Yelp Alex started consulting startups as they scaled their sales efforts (including SwoopMe and Hitch-ride) In 2018, Alex received a call and was offered his dream role - to help build a unicorn travel marketplace with a brilliant founding team. As Head of Sales for Whimstay Alex has on-boarded over 580 PMC's with over 100,000 properties including V-Trips, TurnKey and Vacasa - the biggest Property Management Company in the U.S.

In her personal time, Jen enjoys traveling, playing club lacrosse, seeing live music, hiking, and event planning.

As a self-professed “digital media enthusiast”, Noël is constantly seeking out compelling opportunities to elevate storytelling and catalyze communities. Noël serves as a Digital Marketing Specialist for JAM Collective – a multifaceted PR firm where she partners with notable global brands to strategize, develop, and execute thoughtful seasonal and evergreen digital campaigns. She also serves a Communications Specialist for The Outbound Collective, the Partnerships Director for Ravel Media LLC, and the Marketing Director for Whimstay. Noël sits on the board of On The Land Media Collective, Pacific Northwest Outdoor Women, and Outside Voices Podcast - a project by Resource Media, where she also works as a facilitator for workshops and trainings.

A tech and travel industry pro, Pamela has worked for multiple start-ups including advertising agencies, travel, and hospitality companies. Outside of technology roles, Pamela spent time within the hospitality space working for a private equity firm that owned multiple hotels and vacation rental companies throughout North America as their VP of Brand Communications and Growth.  

Prior to the hospitality industry, Pamela spent time developing marketing strategies for global clients of a large Los Angeles advertising agency start-up, directing sales, communications and marketing for multiple professional sports teams and entertainment venues, and acted as the Director of Sports Marketing for UNLV, where she received her master's degree in Marketing.

Keith has been with Whimstay since its inception in 2018. He has over 30 years of experience as a senior financial executive and consultant serving startup businesses and nonprofit organizations. He was associated with the startups of Intuit, RSA Security, and SuperMac Technology (Radius), among several others. Keith began his career as a CPA and auditor with Ernst & Young. He holds an MBA degree from St. Mary’s College. A saxophone player and active jazz musician, Keith is also a car hobbyist and has restored several classic cars. 

Keith works for Whimstay on a part-time basis and contributes 16 hours per week.

Ken is a serial entrepreneur who has been a founder or co-founder of 14 startups since 2008. Through the years, he has developed a deep understanding of operations, marketing, and sales. Ken is currently the CEO of the startup AreaHype. His passion for startups has led him to dedicate his life to helping startups grow from launch to exit at Newchip Accelerator. In the past decade, Ken has accrued 8 years of stock and options trading, and 4 years of angel investing. He was an early investor in SBUX in 2011, Binance Coin in 2017, ETSY in 2018, SNAP in 2019, and NIO in 2019. Ken has a portfolio of 23 angel investments with 3 exits: 1 acquisition and two IPOs.

With more than 20 years of information security management experience, Borrero has extensive expertise in aligning cross-functional security strategies that protect organizations’ technology environments and business processes. Previously, Borrero served as Chief Information Security Officer at Robert Half International, Inc., a global human resource consulting firm, where he was instrumental in developing and implementing a security strategy to support business growth and accelerating a secure shift to a digital business model. Prior to that role, Borrero headed up the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer at Amgen.

Borrero is a core leader in Blue Shield’s corporate executive Diversity Council as well as the internal Hispanic and Veterans Groups. In his community, Borrero is committed to being a role model by supporting Hispanics and veterans in pursuing careers in technology. The 10% StartEngine Owners' Bonus

Whimstay, Inc. will offer 10% additional bonus shares for all investments that are committed by investors that are eligible for the StartEngine Crowdfunding Inc. OWNer's bonus.

This means eligible StartEngine shareholders will receive a 10% bonus for any shares they purchase in this offering. For example, if you buy 100 shares of Class A Common Stock at $1.38/share, you will receive 110 shares of Class A Common Stock, meaning you'll own 110 shares for $138. Fractional shares will not be distributed and share bonuses will be determined by rounding down to the nearest whole share.

This 10% Bonus is only valid during the investors eligibility period. Investors eligible for this bonus will also have priority if they are on a waitlist to invest and the company surpasses its maximum funding goal. I believe this is going to be a great service, already you are making strong waves in the near term rentals. I have mentioned Whimstay with the upper management of ReAlpha, they are looking to purchase and do fractional ownership in many AIRBNB rentals that they will own. I think it would benefit both parties to have early discussions with them as they are rolling out their expansion soon. I love seeing the updates and watching Whimstay grow. Keep up the good work.

With Regulation A+, a non-accredited investor can only invest a maximum of 10% of their annual income or 10% of their net worth per year, whichever is greater. There are no restrictions for accredited investors.

With Regulation Crowdfunding, non-accredited investors with an annual income or net worth less than $124,000, are limited to invest a maximum of 5% of the greater of those two amounts. For those with an annual income and net worth greater than $124,000, he/she is limited to investing 10% of the greater of the two amounts.

At the close of an offering, all investors whose funds have “cleared” by this time will be included in the disbursement. At this time, each investor will receive an email from StartEngine with their Countersigned Subscription Agreement, which will serve as their proof of purchase moving forward.

Please keep in mind that a company can conduct a series of “closes” or withdrawals of funds throughout the duration of the campaign. If you are included in that withdrawal period, you will be emailed your countersigned subscription agreement and proof of purchase immediately following that withdrawal.

StartEngine assists companies in raising capital, and once the offering is closed, we are no longer involved with whether the company chooses to list shares on a secondary market, or what occurs thereafter. Therefore, StartEngine has no control or insight into your investment after the close of the live offering. In addition, we are not permitted to provide financial advice. For Regulation Crowdfunding, investors are able to cancel their investment at any point throughout the campaign up until 48 hours before the closing of the offering. Note: If the company does a rolling close, they will post an update to their current investors, giving them the opportunity to cancel during this timeframe. If you do not cancel within this 5-day timeframe, your funds will be invested in the company, and you will no longer be able to cancel the investment. If your funds show as ‘Invested’ on your account dashboard, your investment can no longer be canceled.

For Regulation A+, StartEngine allows for a four-hour cancelation period. Once the four-hour window has passed, it is up to each company to set their own cancelation policy. You may find the company’s cancelation policy in the company’s offering circular.

Once your investment is canceled, there is a 10-day clearing period (from the date your investment was submitted). After your funds have cleared the bank, you will receive your refund within 10 business days.

Refunds that are made through ACH payments can take up to 10 business days to clear. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the bank, but we will do everything we can to get you your refund as soon as possible. However, every investment needs to go through the clearing process in order to get sent back to the account associated with the investment.

Both Title III (Regulation Crowdfunding) and Title IV (Reg A+) help entrepreneurs crowdfund capital investments from unaccredited and accredited investors. The differences between these regulations are related to the investor limitations, the differing amounts of money companies are permitted to raise, and differing disclosure and filing requirements.
