Request Your Continued Support in 2019

Hello Investors and Followers,

Just in the past few months the world continues to be reminded of the horrors associated with terrorist threats by active shooters and suicide bombers.

Please know that TSSI is fully committed to the development of our NTDS technology that will provide a comprehensive solution to ensure that a threat doesn’t enter the facility in the first place. We are talking about a stand-off threat surveillance, detection, and mitigation (containment) capability before entry. There are many approaches out there but none of them provides a comprehensive solution such as we are developing with our system. Yes, what we are developing amounts to a "security paradigm change" and it does more than just detects threats, but also provides real-time mitigation (containment) of the detected threat while minimizing collateral damage and protecting first responders. Our design drawings are nearing completion, but we still need funding to complete our software development and acquire materials for full functional prototypes fabrication. Yes our technology is complex and expensive to develop, but it is based in proven science and current leading edge technology. Our differentiation is in the way we integrate the technologies and processes as well as our proprietary approach to resolving the vulnerabilities. We are subject matter experts and are engaged with reliable and competent partners who are industry leaders in their technical areas. We need your investments and urge that you continue to support our effort and tell others so they too can help in accelerating our development and introduction of this public safety and public security capability.

Recent Presentation to Interested Colleagues

Hello Fellow Investors and Followers,

I recently gave a pitch to a group of interested colleagues on the NTDS proposed implementation. I feel that it was a very meaningful exchange and want to share it with you. The following is a few highlights of that discussion.

1. Inquiry - Why do you feel that the netcentric threat detection system (NTDS) is a better solution than the current School Resource Officer effort?

Response – First I want to say that having a school resource officer is not a bad approach, but unfortunately evidence shows that it does not prevent weapons from being smuggled into schools. This was evidenced by recent school shootings.  We are proposing a comprehensive solution that integrates defined processes and technologies.

Now, we need help, and we’re currently doing a crowdfunding campaign to raise funding for completing development of our NTDS capabilities. What we are proposing is technology for positively controlling access (Ingress and Egress) to the school building and other similar facilities. This will be accomplished using an architecturally aesthetic cluster arrangement of our mantrap inspection queue (MIQ) portal design. The MIQ portals clusters configurations will be positioned in the entrance to the school building. Each entry MIQ portal incorporates NTDS technology that scans every entrant and their backpack or bag for handguns, bladed weapons, and explosives or flammable chemicals. Anyone that is detected with prohibited items will be safely constrained in the MIQ until processed by a trained operator and law enforcement. The MIQs are designed with ballistic material to resist the firing of a weapon as well as minimize the impact in case of concealed explosive or IED detonation. A second configuration of the MIQ will be positioned at each school house exits to ensure one-way egress only from the facility, thus requiring all re-entry to be rescreened. The MIQ assemblies incorporate an emergency mode to accommodate designated evacuations such as fire and power outages. A simple artist illustration of this concept will be posted by mid-November on our website at

2.  Inquiry – First, don’t you feel your approach will create entry bottlenecks and what prevents someone from concealing and staging a weapon on the school ground for later retrieval. Second, wouldn’t this system be very expensive?

Response – a. Entry Bottlenecks - The amount of MIQ portals clusters will be determined based on peak traffic throughput requirements and estimate less than a minute to complete entrant processing.

b. Staged Weapon on Schoolyard - Our solution for someone entering the schoolyard to conceal and stage a weapon for later retrieval is the NTDS Overhead Gantry (OHG) configuration. The OHG is configured with 3D optics, IR camera, and LiDAR sensor arrays that are linked to the command post and provides 24/7 surveillance video capture and reporting.

c. System being Expensive – The NTDS is a complex system and incorporate leading edge technologies that have significant expense associated. Our design, detection accuracy, and tests specifications are extremely stringent, system incorporates AI and machine learning to maximize performance, and the system's comprehensive solutioning approach is a differentiator for success. Our applications fits several venues and the expected economy of scale will drive a significant unit cost decrease. Additionally, our proposed business strategy borrows from the business model used by many security and technology services. We propose providing the NTDS capability as a subscription-based service option estimating that to make the system more financially appealing and affordable.

We need your continued support to complete NTDS development and bring this technology into service. Please share with others so that they too can join us in this endeavor.

August - September 2018 Progess Update

Hello Investors and Followers, we thank you for your confidence and continued support. Our netcentric threat detection system (NTDS)is a complex system and its development includes working with many suppliers to provide an array of leading-edge technologies that we integrate to achieve the capabilities for a comprehensive public safety solution. As you can imagine that requires precision planning, agility in execution, and effective use of limited funding and other resources.

Unfortunately, in both our national and international space we continue to experience the devastating horror of violence and acts of terrorism. These violent acts transcends our workplaces, schools, places of worship, and many other public venues. Each of those venues including transportation systems are or can be designated as gun free zones (GFZ) or weapon free zones (WFZ). The process and current legislation already exist, what is lacking is effective enforcement tools. There are many entities offering solutions, but we have not seen any that offer a comprehensive solution. We will provide exactly that with our capability development of the NTDS and it is in urgent need.

Our technical team and suppliers are fully engaged and producing exciting results and we are currently doing that on a shoestring budget. In effort to reach and inform potential investors we are focusing on a succinct message and that is: “You can help provide a comprehensive tool to enforce gun free zones. Support the NTDS, it detects and contains/mitigates threats”.

To take advantage of progress to date, we have reprioritized our efforts to demonstrate the NTDS capabilities. This begins with fabrication of the mantrap vestibule inspection queue (MIQ) configurations prototypes, multi-screen folding display (MSD) laptop workstation prototype, and the robotic “bear Hugg” sentry (RBS) prototype.  We are optimistic that these prototypes will enhance our ability to promote and demonstrate the system and stimulate the interest of prospective customers and supporters. The NTDS principles of standoff threat surveillance, detection, and mitigation/containment can ensure public safety.

Recent developments:

1. August 2018 – We added two new members to our board of directors who brings significant business and manufacturing experience to our executive management oversight.

2. August 2018 – The NTDS was again selected by a George Washington University graduate student in the Master of Science Project Management (MSPM) program to model attributes in the Risk Management, Executive Decision Making, and Directed Computational courses of study. The system will be used in advanced modeling and analysis for identifying, measuring, and controlling Risks, as well as analyzing the objectives, alternatives pros and cons to measure and make decisions involved with development and Implementation of the system.

3. September 2018 - We engaged in collaboration with Noice Industries of Torrance CA to provide our aerial surveillance and tracking drone capability (ADC) and Adherent Technologies of Albuquerque NM to support the sticky foam apprehension capability of the RBS.

4. September 2018 - We engaged our advisory committees in discussions involving the architectural and aesthetic approach for transforming the implementation of the NTDS in the gateways to protected facilities to not create a fortress appearance. This is significant for acceptance of the NTDS foundational approach of “positively controlled ingress and egress” to maintain architectural aesthetics.

With Regulation A+, a non-accredited investor can only invest a maximum of 10% of their annual income or 10% of their net worth per year, whichever is greater. There are no restrictions for accredited investors.

With Regulation Crowdfunding, non-accredited investors with an annual income or net worth less than $124,000, are limited to invest a maximum of 5% of the greater of those two amounts. For those with an annual income and net worth greater than $124,000, he/she is limited to investing 10% of the greater of the two amounts.

At the close of an offering, all investors whose funds have “cleared” by this time will be included in the disbursement. At this time, each investor will receive an email from StartEngine with their Countersigned Subscription Agreement, which will serve as their proof of purchase moving forward.

Please keep in mind that a company can conduct a series of “closes” or withdrawals of funds throughout the duration of the campaign. If you are included in that withdrawal period, you will be emailed your countersigned subscription agreement and proof of purchase immediately following that withdrawal.

StartEngine assists companies in raising capital, and once the offering is closed, we are no longer involved with whether the company chooses to list shares on a secondary market, or what occurs thereafter. Therefore, StartEngine has no control or insight into your investment after the close of the live offering. In addition, we are not permitted to provide financial advice. You may want to contact a financial professional to discuss possible investment outcomes.

For Regulation Crowdfunding, investors are able to cancel their investment at any point throughout the campaign up until 48 hours before the closing of the offering. Note: If the company does a rolling close, they will post an update to their current investors, giving them the opportunity to cancel during this timeframe. If you do not cancel within this 5-day timeframe, your funds will be invested in the company, and you will no longer be able to cancel the investment. If your funds show as ‘Invested’ on your account dashboard, your investment can no longer be canceled.

For Regulation A+, StartEngine allows for a four-hour cancelation period. Once the four-hour window has passed, it is up to each company to set their own cancelation policy. You may find the company’s cancelation policy in the company’s offering circular.

Once your investment is canceled, there is a 10-day clearing period (from the date your investment was submitted). After your funds have cleared the bank, you will receive your refund within 10 business days.

Refunds that are made through ACH payments can take up to 10 business days to clear. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the bank, but we will do everything we can to get you your refund as soon as possible. However, every investment needs to go through the clearing process in order to get sent back to the account associated with the investment.

Both Title III (Regulation Crowdfunding) and Title IV (Reg A+) help entrepreneurs crowdfund capital investments from unaccredited and accredited investors. The differences between these regulations are related to the investor limitations, the differing amounts of money companies are permitted to raise, and differing disclosure and filing requirements.
