Our Traction
A history of making our customers happy—and a plan to get even more people on board with Terra Biotics
Terra Biotics was developed by its original owner in 2003 and had built up a devoted customer base even before we purchased it in 2019. This year, we supplied the very first USDA-certified organic hemp greenhouse in Texas, as well as one of the largest hemp seed production sites in the country. This greenhouse was then awarded the winner of the 2020 Taste of Texas Hemp Cup.
Since acquiring the assets in 2019, our 2019 revenue was $104.8K, and we have increased this by ~216.9% in 2020 so far. We have farmers who patch tested our products in 2020 and we believe they will be comfortable with converting their full farms to Terra Biotics in 2021.
What We Do
Providing a whole system from the ground up
We buy carefully selected raw materials and then grind them to 150 microns or smaller. These materials are blended into various formulations, each designed for a different stage of growth. Our formulas are kept in dry form for easier shipping and storage.

When we receive online orders, we typically ship them within 24-48 hours using our existing stock. For larger wholesale orders, the manufacturing team prepares new products for shipment in 3-4 days.
In addition to selling uniquely beneficial formulas, we also often work directly with the farm to develop a feeding plan based on their crop, soil, etc.
The Business Model
Many routes to an eager market
Sales to soil consultants, resellers, wholesale. Historically, these have been Terra Biotics’ main routes to market and have resulted in a dedicated customer base.
Direct sales to farmers and growers. We use our Instagram accounts to repost our customers’ experiences using Terra Biotics. This new social media presence has resulted in many inquiries from interested customers and is responsible for at least $50K in orders this year. We also believe this brand building will create a significant impact on demand from retail establishments and provide a higher-margin sales opportunity.
Toll production for other brands. Toll production allows us to run manufacturing when we have extra capacity and gain profitability on otherwise idle equipment.

Competing in a fragmented market with piecemeal products
Many fertilizer companies compete within a specialty formulation type, crop type or region. Some organic fertilizer companies sell products that are meant to be direct replacements for their chemical counterparts and provide only macronutrients. Other companies solely make biofertilizers using materials such as soil bacteria, mycorrhizae, fungi, other microbes, etc.

Large commercial nursery running product trials - early results
There is a commercial nursery operation that is running product trials of Terra Biotics organic fertilizers & biologicals versus their current supplier. This nursery runs millions of plants a year through their greenhouses and the plants are sold through garden supply centers, grocery stores, big box stores, landscaping and anywhere you see starter plants for retail sale. They want strong & healthy plants, easy to use fertilizers that are cost effective.

Record sales in April
April was a record month for sales and as of April 30th we reached $112.7k in revenue which surpassed sales for the 2019 year! The market is booming, demand is up and the Terra Biotics brand awareness is starting to gain traction in key growth areas.

2021 is off to a great start!
Quick update, 2021 is off to a very good start.
Revenue - Year to date revenue is 147% compared to the same period last year. We are seeing the growth that the team has worked hard for!
Trade Shows - We hosted a booth at a major trade show in Oklahoma City last weekend and had high interest, lots of traffic, sales and over 140 new contacts from the event. We are currently following up with these potential new customers to provide more information and quotes.
During the show, we met up with one of our award winning growers. This grower has one half a dozen awards in very competitive competitions for growing the best "flower." This respected grower, converted to our products last year and shared his experience with many people visiting his booth during the show.
We were pleased that several people came to our booth and said they have heard great things about us and want to learn more. This is a great achievement compared to the past when we were just starting to promote the brand at these shows. We will exhibit at CannaCon, another major trade show, next month and looking forward to building brand recognition, filling the commercial pipeline and helping our customer's plants thrive!
Hiring Commercial Team - We hired a professional recruiter that specializes in the Agriculture space to help us find experienced, knowledgeable and capable sales team members to help us provide excellent customer service and frequent communication with our customers. Many applicants have applied and we have narrowed it down to a couple solid candidates. This is a key component to our growth plan.
Operations - Our operations team is doing a wonderful job at running the manufacturing site smoothly, providing prompt product deliveries and offering good customer service.
