StorEn's Second StartEngine Campaign off to a great Start

Dear Investors and Followers,

Our second StartEngine campaign displays a momentum greater than our first campaign and we are thrilled by this success, as we raised over $100K in just over two weeks. Check it out at: www.startengine.com/storen-technologies

I am currently in Europe for meetings. StorEn has an ongoing scientific cooperation with the University of Padua that resulted in two scientific publications on the prestigious Journal of Power Sources and Applied Energy confirming the superior electrical performance of our proprietary stack. The University of Padua was founded in 1222 and is the second-oldest university in Italy and the world's fifth-oldest surviving university.

Our sincere gratitude goes to all those who have decided to support us and invested in our cause. Your investment is crucial to us and will support us through the industrialization of our battery and moving towards volume manufacturing. We are also building a first batch of batteries, some of which will go to Australia.

As to all our followers, we thank you for your interest in our technology. We hope you will decide to join our family of investors in the future. Please share our campaign with your friends and acquaintances and let them know how our patent-pending vanadium flow batteries can contribute to the reduction of global warming.

We shall continue posting updates on our StartEngine campaign page, as well as on our social media, to keep our community informed on our developments in a timely manner.

Best wishes,

Carlo Brovero

StorEn To Deliver First Batteries In April 2019

As we approach the end of our campaign, we'd like to let you know about a very significant update regarding our vanadium partnership with Multicom Resources. We recently announced that Multicom's Vanadium has been verified for use in our proprietary Vanadium Flow Batteries (VFBs).

Multicom has been running ongoing feasibility studies on its vanadium pentoxide since our partnership was established in November 2017. These studies recently resulted in the independent verification of the vanadium pentoxide with negligible deleterious elements. As a next step to this formal milestone, we'll be prepping and shipping the first of three VFBs to Multicom. The first battery is scheduled for arrival in Australia in April 2019.

The batteries will be StorEn’s residential 5kW/30kWh modules, which are expected to be significantly cheaper, longer lasting, safer and more environmental friendly than the lithium-based batteries currently prevalent in this market segment.

Multicom Resources Executive Director, Nathan Cammerman said: “We are very pleased to have achieved these important milestones with the StorEn team. The Australian market is well suited for the deployment of StorEn’s low cost, long life vanadium battery technology, supported by a large number of households utilising solar power and strong bipartisan government support for the battery storage industry”.

Forthcoming End to our Successful StartEngine Campaign!

Dear Investors and Followers,

We are now approaching the end of our StartEngine campaign. Regulation Crowdfunding, the regulatory framework for our campaign, permits a company to run a for a maximum 12-month period. Therefore our campaign will close on January 8th, 2019.

Since the start of our StartEngine campaign in January 2018, with your support, we fulfilled several crucial milestones in our roadmap.

We have completed our R&D and extended our four US provisional patent applications to four International PCT applications at the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.

Our prototype, embedding our IP, underwent a first internal validation program at the Environment Park. The power results obtained were inspiring and above our expectations.

Before our campaign closes, we will have more to share about our validation program as well as our partnership with Multicom Resources.

Our sincere gratitude goes to all those who have supported us and invested in our cause. As for all our followers, we thank you for your interest in our proprietary vanadium flow technology and hope you decide to join our family of investors before the forthcoming end of our campaign.

Stay in touch with us via our social media as we shall keep our community informed on our future developments in a timely manner as our project unfolds.

Best wishes,

Carlo Brovero

StorEn @ The New York Green Innovation Showcase

StorEn was one of several NY-based startups invited to attend the New York Green Innovation Showcase on November 7. The event was sponsored and organized by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), which promotes energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources throughout the state of New York. Taking place at The New York Academy of Sciences in 7 World Trade Center, the invitation-only event brought together a variety of startups, investors, venture development organizations and strategic partners in the clean tech space.

We ended up holding one-on-one meetings with nine potential investors, all of whom we will stay in close contact with. It was a pleasure sharing our story and product with these investors, who were very receptive to our technology and roadmap going forward. We also enjoyed meeting and sharing ideas with the other startups and entities, all of whom very much shared our vision of forging new paths in the world of renewable energy.

For those of you receiving this update that haven't invested yet, please feel free to comment with any questions or concerns you have. We would love to have you on board as an investor.

WHY STARTENGINE?

REWARDS

We want you to succeed and get the most out of your money by offering rewards and memberships!

SECURE

Your info is your info. We take pride in keeping it that way!

DIVERSE INVESTMENTS

Invest in over 200 start-ups and collectibles!

With Regulation A+, a non-accredited investor can only invest a maximum of 10% of their annual income or 10% of their net worth per year, whichever is greater. There are no restrictions for accredited investors.

With Regulation Crowdfunding, non-accredited investors with an annual income or net worth less than $124,000, are limited to invest a maximum of 5% of the greater of those two amounts. For those with an annual income and net worth greater than $124,000, he/she is limited to investing 10% of the greater of the two amounts.

At the close of an offering, all investors whose funds have “cleared” by this time will be included in the disbursement. At this time, each investor will receive an email from StartEngine with their Countersigned Subscription Agreement, which will serve as their proof of purchase moving forward.

Please keep in mind that a company can conduct a series of “closes” or withdrawals of funds throughout the duration of the campaign. If you are included in that withdrawal period, you will be emailed your countersigned subscription agreement and proof of purchase immediately following that withdrawal.

StartEngine assists companies in raising capital, and once the offering is closed, we are no longer involved with whether the company chooses to list shares on a secondary market, or what occurs thereafter. Therefore, StartEngine has no control or insight into your investment after the close of the live offering. In addition, we are not permitted to provide financial advice. You may want to contact a financial professional to discuss possible investment outcomes.

For Regulation Crowdfunding, investors are able to cancel their investment at any point throughout the campaign up until 48 hours before the closing of the offering. Note: If the company does a rolling close, they will post an update to their current investors, giving them the opportunity to cancel during this timeframe. If you do not cancel within this 5-day timeframe, your funds will be invested in the company, and you will no longer be able to cancel the investment. If your funds show as ‘Invested’ on your account dashboard, your investment can no longer be canceled.

For Regulation A+, StartEngine allows for a four-hour cancelation period. Once the four-hour window has passed, it is up to each company to set their own cancelation policy. You may find the company’s cancelation policy in the company’s offering circular.

Once your investment is canceled, there is a 10-day clearing period (from the date your investment was submitted). After your funds have cleared the bank, you will receive your refund within 10 business days.

Refunds that are made through ACH payments can take up to 10 business days to clear. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the bank, but we will do everything we can to get you your refund as soon as possible. However, every investment needs to go through the clearing process in order to get sent back to the account associated with the investment.

Both Title III (Regulation Crowdfunding) and Title IV (Reg A+) help entrepreneurs crowdfund capital investments from unaccredited and accredited investors. The differences between these regulations are related to the investor limitations, the differing amounts of money companies are permitted to raise, and differing disclosure and filing requirements. To learn more about Regulation Crowdfunding, click here, and for Regulation A+, click here.
