OVERVIEW

Dronedek aims to disrupt the last mile of delivery

Dronedek secures the last inch of the last mile by facilitating autonomous delivery while offering our users complete package security and peace of mind. Autonomous delivery is the future and Dronedek interfaces with all forms of delivery from ground and aerial robotics to traditional manned delivery. However, what we found is there have been a number of challenges seeming to have kept autonomous delivery from being ubiquitous. We are overcoming those challenges by offering features such as charging stations, micro-weather and micro-climate data, and signal boosters for connectivity in some of our devices.

We utilize a platform-agnostic approach to consolidate and funnel deliveries (and pickups) from all carriers and services right to your Dronedek. A climate controlled interior means you can have food and medications shipped straight to you without having to worry. Dronedek is revolutionizing the last mile of delivery by unlocking quick, convenient, and eco-friendly deliveries to your home or business and keeping your packages safe.

THE PROBLEM & OUR SOLUTION

Dronedek streamlines and secures that last inch of the last mile of delivery

Our findings revealed this could result in:

  • Faster delivery
  • Cheaper delivery
  • Better delivery
  • Fresher delivery
  • Safer delivery
  • More secure delivery
  • Autonomous deliveries of all kinds
  • Environmentally friendly delivery

It’s estimated that in 2021 roughly 210 million packages were stolen in the US (source).

Approximately 1.7 million packages are lost, stolen, or damaged daily in the US (source).

Dronedek smart mailboxes consolidate all deliveries to one secure point and are adaptable to a wide range of delivery services. The Dronedek app:

  • Controls opening and closing of the user door
  • Alerts users to package arrivals
  • Controls the interior heating and cooling
  • Can trigger 9-1-1 and emergency alerts

Product offerings include markets such as:

  • Single family residences
  • Multi-family residences
  • Portable units
  • Hospitals and medical campuses
  • Businesses and business parks
  • Restaurants

THE MARKET & OUR TRACTION

Our earliest research revealed a critical need for safe, fast, and secure delivery

91% of the 100+ million items shipped daily are 5 pounds or less making them "drone deliverable" (source).

On August 8th, 2022, we launched Phase 1 of our first pilot program alongside the city of Lawrence, Indiana (source). This launch included the world’s first delivery of First-Class mail by a traditional ground carrier to a Dronedek smart mailbox, and was featured both locally (source) and nationally (source).

According to our findings, trends are showing families and businesses order more online today more than ever. We believe there cannot be large-scale autonomous delivery programs of any kind without Dronedek smart receptacles in the ecosystem.

Hey Guys, This is Dan, the CEO at Dronedek. I want to thank each of you for your feedback about our opportunity. The Dronedek opportunity may not be for you and that's fine. No one thing is great for everyone. You may also have a differing opinion about our company and that, too, is fine. Every day at Dronedek, we have a fully engaged, enthusiastic team solving for the last mile in a new and innovative way like never before. What we are doing is not easy or cheap. It takes a highly experienced team with a convicted vision to execute upon. We are writing new intellectual property weekly, we are proving out numerous new use=cases for all types of autonomous delivery and we are raising the bar on engineering, development and production of our world-class product. There are no guarantees about success and your decision whether to invest or not is solely yours. We believe that Dronedek is the largest market opportunity in the world today. We have significant revenue diversity through 5 streams. With just 1% market share in the US, we are envisioning $5 billion in revenue. For every rule there is an exception and we believe we are that exception. There are over 180 unicorn companies today and it is our goal to make that exclusive list. If you believe, like we do, I invite you to join our journey. Thank you. Dan and The Dronedek Team

Thank you for asking. It is really premature to get into any specific discussions that were generally touched on. Know that we have always made it easy and attainable to be a shareholder in Dronedek/Arrive. We also want to deliver on the promise of what we have embarked on. To take investment is only the first part of the proposition. To deliver means getting all shareholders to liquidity. Stay tuned and I hope that we can further explain when we make a future announcement. Thank you. Dan

Hi Dan, I've invested 3 times in this venture and I'm excited about its future. However, earlier this month you posted: "…there are all kinds of considerations. One is called round lots. There is a parameter that states a company must have so many round lot shareholders (100 share blocks). And since we don’t know what the future holds and what form we may take in that moment, it is important to make sure that our shareholder roster will account for this. " Although I understand your concern, this doesn’t seem to justify the raising of the minimum investment amount so drastically. That is, at a current share price of $2.80, a “100 share block” would mean investing $280. THAT is a reasonable minimum investment. Setting the minimum investment at $2,492 would purchase 890 shares – which is over eight(8) of these “100 share blocks” you are concerned about for just one single investor. And this $2,492 figure doesn’t even yield an even number of “100 share blocks” (8.9 to be precise). THAT is an Unreasonable minimum investment. And so I must say that this rationale you’ve offered for this change just doesn’t add up – frankly, the logic totally escapes me. Might you offer an explanation that makes more sense to those of us who really want to understand? Thanks for listening. Blessings

Hello, was just curious if there was a way Startengine would allow me to increase my investment to the minimum of $2,500. I invested $1,250 last year before the minimum was raised and in previous rounds. I tried but it was only letting me do $2,500. Since me investing another $1,250 to get up to the minimum wouldn't change the cap table I was just curious of Startengine had a way of allowing this. Thanks! Also the new design is great, it looks futuristic and functionable.

Really sorry to hear that. It’s was not meant to hurt anyone or curtail anyone’s opportunity to join our journey. In fact, we have allowed investments for as low as $100 in the past. The fact is, that as we grow and begin to position ourselves for the future; the hope of being public someday, there are all kinds of considerations. One is called round lots. There is a parameter that states a company must have so many round lot shareholders (100 share blocks). And since we don’t know what the future holds and what form we may take in that moment, it is important to make sure that our shareholder roster will account for this. Thank you for considering us. That means everything! Dan

DIVERSE INVESTMENTS

Invest in over 200 start-ups and collectibles!

With Regulation A+, a non-accredited investor can only invest a maximum of 10% of their annual income or 10% of their net worth per year, whichever is greater. There are no restrictions for accredited investors.

With Regulation Crowdfunding, non-accredited investors with an annual income or net worth less than $124,000, are limited to invest a maximum of 5% of the greater of those two amounts. For those with an annual income and net worth greater than $124,000, he/she is limited to investing 10% of the greater of the two amounts.

At the close of an offering, all investors whose funds have “cleared” by this time will be included in the disbursement. At this time, each investor will receive an email from StartEngine with their Countersigned Subscription Agreement, which will serve as their proof of purchase moving forward.

Please keep in mind that a company can conduct a series of “closes” or withdrawals of funds throughout the duration of the campaign. If you are included in that withdrawal period, you will be emailed your countersigned subscription agreement and proof of purchase immediately following that withdrawal.

StartEngine assists companies in raising capital, and once the offering is closed, we are no longer involved with whether the company chooses to list shares on a secondary market, or what occurs thereafter. Therefore, StartEngine has no control or insight into your investment after the close of the live offering. In addition, we are not permitted to provide financial advice. You may want to contact a financial professional to discuss possible investment outcomes.

For Regulation Crowdfunding, investors are able to cancel their investment at any point throughout the campaign up until 48 hours before the closing of the offering. Note: If the company does a rolling close, they will post an update to their current investors, giving them the opportunity to cancel during this timeframe. If you do not cancel within this 5-day timeframe, your funds will be invested in the company, and you will no longer be able to cancel the investment. If your funds show as ‘Invested’ on your account dashboard, your investment can no longer be canceled.

For Regulation A+, StartEngine allows for a four-hour cancelation period. Once the four-hour window has passed, it is up to each company to set their own cancelation policy. You may find the company’s cancelation policy in the company’s offering circular.

Once your investment is canceled, there is a 10-day clearing period (from the date your investment was submitted). After your funds have cleared the bank, you will receive your refund within 10 business days.

Refunds that are made through ACH payments can take up to 10 business days to clear. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the bank, but we will do everything we can to get you your refund as soon as possible. However, every investment needs to go through the clearing process in order to get sent back to the account associated with the investment.

Both Title III (Regulation Crowdfunding) and Title IV (Reg A+) help entrepreneurs crowdfund capital investments from unaccredited and accredited investors. The differences between these regulations are related to the investor limitations, the differing amounts of money companies are permitted to raise, and differing disclosure and filing requirements. To learn more about Regulation Crowdfunding, click here, and for Regulation A+, click here.
