INVEST IN CALIFORNIA COWBOY TODAY!
overview
Our goal at California Cowboy has always been to bring people together. After spending most of the first part of his senior year in high school isolating at home as he battled Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, our founder, Drew Clark learned at a young age the importance of human connection. Drew carried this profound experience with him as he ascended in the apparel industry, and used his perspective and background as the foundation for California Cowboy.
As an extrovert, Drew’s favorite part of engaging in sports with his friends was the post-sport socializing, or “Après.” The brand supports the idea that technical clothes shouldn’t just augment the athletic performance of the person wearing them but enhance their post-game camaraderie as well. With this charge, Drew created a clothing brand meant to make the good times last. California Cowboy’s clothes are vibrant conversation pieces made with high-quality, technical fibers, and are loaded with functionality. California Cowboy will make you look good, feel great, and help the good times roll.
THE Problem
Smartphones and technology dictate our lives. Everything about our culture revolves around getting from point A to point B in record time with maximum efficiency. This ethos has bled into all facets of our lives, including our apparel. While we’ll be the first to admit our undying love of performance technical apparel brands, most brands focus exclusively on physicality and performance in and on the field.
Simply put, there’s no chill in the technical apparel industry. There is no acknowledgement or design “personality” for the moments that actually connect the people who wear these clothes. An article of clothing is either stacked with features and devoid of fun or appealing aesthetic, or it’s all personality and no substance. We believe that style is one of the truest forms of self expression, and technical clothing should be no exception.
THE solution
California Cowboy is the technical apparel brand for everyone. We understand that most people use sports and outdoor activities as a way to connect with the people they love, and our clothes are tailor made for those moments. Pun intended. Our features are designed to help you get the most out of every moment with your friends, and to be bold enough to make new ones.
We have a stout lineup of killer technical apparel to help you make the most of all of your Après experiences. From shirts to flannels, hoodies, and fleeces to bottoms and even robes, California Cowboy covers all your sartorial needs. We developed a USA-made Wagyu Fleece by blending bamboo and spandex, which is soft enough to make you feel like the pampered, beer-fed Japanese cow that bears its namesake.
While we’d love to elaborate about every item in our repertoire, here are our customers’ favorites:
The High Water is our reinterpretation of the classic short-sleeved button down. Our Après-Surf shirts boast stellar print designs, water-absorbent terry-cloth lining that doubles as a towel, a special dry pocket for your phone, and a pocket specifically designed for a frosty beverage.
Our women’s robe, La Sirena, is the ultimate piece of loungewear. These stylish wraps are lined with our proprietary, softer-than-soft terry cloth and have a champagne bottle-sized back pocket. Pool days and lazy afternoons will never be the same.
For colder weather, try our signature High Sierra Après-Ski flannel shirt, made with luxurious Portuguese cotton, and a thermal lining that will keep you oh-so-cozy after shredding the slopes or rocking your next fall tailgate. This design also includes specialty pockets for your phone, a bottle opener, and frosty beverage pocket.
The El Garibaldi robe is fit for any Cowboy looking to kick back and take it easy. Each robe sports a custom-designed print (solids are on the way), our signature terry cloth lining, and special pockets for your phone and cold beverage.
The Out of Pocket Pouch truly encapsulates the ethos of our brand. After calculating that the average person will spend around nine years of their lives staring at the screen on their phone, we developed a signal-blocking pouch designed to get you out of your inbox and into the moment. You can worry about those DM’s when happy hour is over.
THE market
Much like how yoga brands spearheaded the advent of athleisure, California Cowboy is creating the Aprés market. Our brand exudes supreme confidence to give our customers the energy to make new and lasting connections. We exist not simply to outfit people, we aim to be a catalyst for connection. That reason is why every piece of clothing we make has personality, function, and comfort stitched into them.
Aside from the fun designs, bottle openers, and conversation cards that come with our clothes, we’re also proud of our technical accomplishments. Our Out of Pocket Pouch and Dry Pockets allow you to block the hubbub and stress of the world, if only for a minute. Our terry cloth features a modal blend that’s softer and more absorbent than cotton.
our traction
Just one year removed from our seed round, and California Cowboy delivered more than $3.1 million in revenue in 2021. This immediate success is thanks to the loyalty our customer base has for us, as well as our exceptional designs and resilience. For 2021, we have also had a jaw-dropping press hits total of 195 million impressions.
As far as our product pipeline is concerned, we are launching four new categories this year: outerwear, knit tops, woven long bottoms, and half zip fleece. In 2023 we plan to launch shorts and swim. Lastly, California Cowboy has benefitted from press mentionings by major outlets such as Outside Magazine, GQ, Gear Junkie, Men's Journal, Rachel Ray, Huffington Post, Forbes, Vice, and USA today.
why invest
Humanity is losing its connection to each other, and California Cowboy endeavors to bolster that connection through high-quality technical apparel with custom designs and functional capabilities. We believe that exceptional product design can lead to exceptional experiences, and if our metrics and customer reviews are any indicator, we believe we’re right. By creating the Aprés category, we believe we’ve found a way to remind people that the most memorable moments happen in the real world and not while staring at our phones. Becoming a shareholder in California Cowboy isn’t just supporting a phenomenal clothing brand, it’s starting a dialogue about what’s really important in life: Bringing People together.
California Cowboy is a direct-to-consumer apparel brand that is one of the first companies to create the ‘after sport’ apparel category. The brand utilizes its unique social technical design approach to produce a vibrant style that brings out the inner extrovert in all who wear it. With unique elements that enhance functionality, every piece of clothing is meant to augment the social experience of the wearer.
Mr. Clark does not currently receive a salary for his work at California Cowboy. Once California Cowboy raises $4,000,000 in topline revenue, or in the event of a successful round of funding of $500K or more, the company plans on providing Andrew with a salary determined to be reasonable by the board of directors..

Hi Again -
Today we're highlighting our our zippered dry pocket that was specifically crafted to help you disconnect from your tech and be fully present in the moment. We strategically place the tech pockets on our product in places where they're less likely to have close contact with your body, but also where they're accessible when needed. On our shirts, they're placed on the small of your to minimize notification vibrations. On Robes they're on the front as the fit is looser.
We also line our tech pockets with water resistant material to keep things safe. Take a look below!

Hi Everyone -
It's back by popular demand. Our limited edition holiday “Believe” print showcases the daily challenges legends confront. This print takes you on a visual island sleigh-ride as Santa and Sasquatch carouse their favorite haunts in solidarity, lamenting the world's lack of belief in them. Importantly, they come together to support each other. I believe in you, Man!
Happy Holiday Shopping!

With Regulation A+, a non-accredited investor can only invest a maximum of 10% of their annual income or 10% of their net worth per year, whichever is greater. There are no restrictions for accredited investors.
With Regulation Crowdfunding, non-accredited investors with an annual income or net worth less than $124,000, are limited to invest a maximum of 5% of the greater of those two amounts. For those with an annual income and net worth greater than $124,000, he/she is limited to investing 10% of the greater of the two amounts.
At the close of an offering, all investors whose funds have “cleared” by this time will be included in the disbursement. At this time, each investor will receive an email from StartEngine with their Countersigned Subscription Agreement, which will serve as their proof of purchase moving forward.
Please keep in mind that a company can conduct a series of “closes” or withdrawals of funds throughout the duration of the campaign. If you are included in that withdrawal period, you will be emailed your countersigned subscription agreement and proof of purchase immediately following that withdrawal.
StartEngine assists companies in raising capital, and once the offering is closed, we are no longer involved with whether the company chooses to list shares on a secondary market, or what occurs thereafter. Therefore, StartEngine has no control or insight into your investment after the close of the live offering. In addition, we are not permitted to provide financial advice. You may want to contact a financial professional to discuss possible investment outcomes.
For Regulation Crowdfunding, investors are able to cancel their investment at any point throughout the campaign up until 48 hours before the closing of the offering. Note: If the company does a rolling close, they will post an update to their current investors, giving them the opportunity to cancel during this timeframe. If you do not cancel within this 5-day timeframe, your funds will be invested in the company, and you will no longer be able to cancel the investment. If your funds show as ‘Invested’ on your account dashboard, your investment can no longer be canceled.
For Regulation A+, StartEngine allows for a four-hour cancelation period. Once the four-hour window has passed, it is up to each company to set their own cancelation policy. You may find the company’s cancelation policy in the company’s offering circular.
Once your investment is canceled, there is a 10-day clearing period (from the date your investment was submitted). After your funds have cleared the bank, you will receive your refund within 10 business days.
Refunds that are made through ACH payments can take up to 10 business days to clear. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the bank, but we will do everything we can to get you your refund as soon as possible. However, every investment needs to go through the clearing process in order to get sent back to the account associated with the investment.
Both Title III (Regulation Crowdfunding) and Title IV (Reg A+) help entrepreneurs crowdfund capital investments from unaccredited and accredited investors. The differences between these regulations are related to the investor limitations, the differing amounts of money companies are permitted to raise, and differing disclosure and filing requirements. To learn more about Regulation Crowdfunding, click here, and for Regulation A+, click here.
