the pitch

AEV Charging creates advanced electric vehicle charging stations and innovative software solutions, improving efficiency and user experience. The company is led by a highly experienced team of engineers with years of expertise in EV charging and connections to both U.S. and European markets. With patented, AI-powered technology for faster charging and a uniquely efficient R&D process, we are ready to build a greener future with EV transportation.

Bringing Reliable EV Charging Solutions to a Fast-Growing Market

As electric vehicles shape the future of ground transportation, EV charging technology is evolving alongside.

We have developed patented technology that drastically improves the efficiency of the charging process using AI (Artificial Intelligence) to reduce handshake problems. The production of stations is fast and optimized, due to being an in-house manufacturer. Moreover, we have developed an advanced app to help EV drivers and charging station owners plan for and manage their charging needs.

Our aim is to bring this innovation into the entire market of EV Charging. For this reason, we offer a wide range of products to reach multiple groups of customers. AEV Charging works with private consumers and business that are willing to install our products. Additionally, we offer white labeling and software sales.

The Problem & Our solution

The Industry Needs an Efficient,
Cost-Effective Solution to Catch Up With the Demand

Right now, the EV charging station industry struggles with elongated, largely ineffective charging due to handshake and other errors. Long R&D cycles lead to slow innovation and cannot satisfy consumers’ growing demand. Additionally, the number of charging stations remains insufficient to afford even moderate convenience to current and prospective EV drivers. At the same time, the increasing number of EV owners lack a comprehensive software solution to help navigate them to charging stations across the country.

We know the products present on the market can and should be improved. As electric vehicles become the future of transportation and the future of our planet, their owners deserve the best charging solutions current technology can provide.

Increasing Efficiency with AEV Charging

Our team of software and hardware engineers combined years of experience in the industry to develop a disruptive technology that takes EV charging to the next level. Our printed wiring boards (PWBs) use artificial intelligence to nearly eliminate power losses during the charging handshake. While the average charging loss from existing stations comes to 5-25%, we were able to reduce it to <1%. While we use PWBs for our own products, we also plan to sell them to other companies via B2B sales to maximize revenue and bring innovation to the wider range of EV owners.

Meanwhile, our streamlined R&D and manufacturing processes facilitate faster, cheaper innovation than the competition. Our company offers full-cycle product development, which has numerous benefits. To begin with, AEV Charging is able to complete orders in a shorter time frame thanks to being an in-house supplier of the finished product. The average time of product delivery is less than 2 months, with our production capacity of 30K charging stations per month.

AEV Charging products are 40% cheaper than our competitors and significantly reduce energy waste, setting new standards for efficiency in the EV market.

*The above graphic contains images of our prototype which is currently not available for general use.

Another huge benefit that we offer to customers is advanced software that delivers a fully integrated account management solution. Our user-friendly app collects information to improve customers’ control of the charging network and allows the implementation of changes on the go. We also incorporated remote diagnostics and offer power-saving and load-balancing scenarios for different charging groups.

So, how many EV charging units are in place, (functional), and what is the uptime? Look forward to your response.

The Departmentvof Energy (DOE) sent the Secretary of Energy on an EV trip from Charlotte to Memphis to show the American people the virtues of 'lectric livin' (my words) The demo was pretty much of an epic fail. There were few charging stations to be found. When her staff found one, they reportedly parked their gas powered vehicle in the spot and waited for her to show up. (Just long enough for the cops to be called because a family wanted to use the commandeered station - allegedly) Could it be that there were lessons learned that Uncle Sugar needs to dump some serious funding into building out a charging infrastructure? Given that government regulators have already affected the big 3 automakers, and EV startups spring up occasionally, do you have any plans to get the marketeers in front of the decision makers with the fat wallets supervising the build-out plan? Is there a plan? We need a source selection decision! Could DoE drop a sole source contract on you at this point? Could you field install teams to perfom against a government schedule?

Where are you deriving your 10M valuation from ? Pre-orders ? You have filed four provisional patents, where ? USPTO ? What are the #'s . What IP do they cover. With Musk & GM , Ford and major players teaming up on EV charging stations, how do you intend to GTM in the US ? What is the est COGS for each EV charging station unit ? Can you license your tech improvements ? What year do you expect to be profitable ? Where do you see an exit ? Or is this an IPO> .

hello. i am wondering as i looked at your financials you have a huge loss, i can't see why you have zero for debt etc. did you bootstrap things to get to where it is now. i saw you are in the prototype stage which explains why you have no revenue. do you at least have any pre orders, request for charging stations etc. have you figured out a cost for the charging stations or still working on that. i see what makes you different than others which is good. that should draw interest from people you have any soft orders etc. thanks for your time. if i am overlooking any of this sorry about that

Hello, a couple questions: 1) Can you explain a little more how your technology works? The charging handshake is how the car and charger tell each other they are connected and can start charging? How does the handshake effect the amount of energy lost while charging? What makes the handshake inefficient which you are fixing? 2) Can you please explain what makes your R&D process quicker and more efficient than your competitors? 3) I'm a little confused at what stage you currently are at. Your EV charger is in the prototype phase and your software is currently being sold in Europe? Is the customer review video of someone using the software or someone testing the prototype? Also in the article "AEV Charging Moves to Austria as a Result of the Russia-Ukraine War" it says you had a network of over 5,000 charging stations in Ukraine before the war. Can you please clarify? Thanks

Hello, Living in Alaska poses interesting internet connectivity issues for some of us. Can your devices be used standalone with no or limited internet connectivity? If not, are there discussions for using your devices in remote locations as standalone chargers with limited internet access to them? Cheers Steve

We are at the prototype stage of a new generation of chargers of all types. We apply all the experience of our team and industrial design partners to develop optimal production plans and we incorporate such production plans into expansion strategy and growth goals. Regarding 10K charging sessions, we can confidently say that our software is actively used in different countries in Europe. We are currently in process of rolling out the latest version of our operating software, where we will transfer all our active clients and partners. This will become a single system - which will include our and partner networks. This information will soon be public and reflect live charging sessions in real time live!

I read your pitch on start engine and am a little confused. You state in numerous places that you are in the prototype stage for your proposed products. If I am reading this correctly, how can you possibly know at this time that you can manufacture 30K units/month? Also, if you haven't begun to install your units in the field, how can you achieve 10K charging sessions/week? Are these numbers real or are they merely projections?

With Regulation A+, a non-accredited investor can only invest a maximum of 10% of their annual income or 10% of their net worth per year, whichever is greater. There are no restrictions for accredited investors.

With Regulation Crowdfunding, non-accredited investors with an annual income or net worth less than $124,000, are limited to invest a maximum of 5% of the greater of those two amounts. For those with an annual income and net worth greater than $124,000, he/she is limited to investing 10% of the greater of the two amounts.

At the close of an offering, all investors whose funds have “cleared” by this time will be included in the disbursement. At this time, each investor will receive an email from StartEngine with their Countersigned Subscription Agreement, which will serve as their proof of purchase moving forward.

Please keep in mind that a company can conduct a series of “closes” or withdrawals of funds throughout the duration of the campaign. If you are included in that withdrawal period, you will be emailed your countersigned subscription agreement and proof of purchase immediately following that withdrawal.

StartEngine assists companies in raising capital, and once the offering is closed, we are no longer involved with whether the company chooses to list shares on a secondary market, or what occurs thereafter. Therefore, StartEngine has no control or insight into your investment after the close of the live offering. In addition, we are not permitted to provide financial advice. You may want to contact a financial professional to discuss possible investment outcomes.

For Regulation Crowdfunding, investors are able to cancel their investment at any point throughout the campaign up until 48 hours before the closing of the offering. Note: If the company does a rolling close, they will post an update to their current investors, giving them the opportunity to cancel during this timeframe. If you do not cancel within this 5-day timeframe, your funds will be invested in the company, and you will no longer be able to cancel the investment. If your funds show as ‘Invested’ on your account dashboard, your investment can no longer be canceled.

For Regulation A+, StartEngine allows for a four-hour cancelation period. Once the four-hour window has passed, it is up to each company to set their own cancelation policy. You may find the company’s cancelation policy in the company’s offering circular.

Once your investment is canceled, there is a 10-day clearing period (from the date your investment was submitted). After your funds have cleared the bank, you will receive your refund within 10 business days.

Refunds that are made through ACH payments can take up to 10 business days to clear. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the bank, but we will do everything we can to get you your refund as soon as possible. However, every investment needs to go through the clearing process in order to get sent back to the account associated with the investment.

Both Title III (Regulation Crowdfunding) and Title IV (Reg A+) help entrepreneurs crowdfund capital investments from unaccredited and accredited investors. The differences between these regulations are related to the investor limitations, the differing amounts of money companies are permitted to raise, and differing disclosure and filing requirements.
