We are an award-winning company that believes we can build walls of standard single-family houses within 60 hours (which is one week) compared to 5-8 weeks of traditional construction for walls alone. This will allow us to build finished houses within 2-3 months compared to 7-12 months that it takes currently with traditional construction.*

There is a shortage of about 5 million homes in the US, and we think our 3D printing targets this issue

To us, homes should be accessible, affordable, and durable, so it’s time to introduce automation to the construction industry. Apis Cor's robotic technology aims to increase productivity, and build faster and more affordably without compromising quality.

Our 3D printed houses are hurricane and earthquake-resistant, built in compliance with international building codes, and we project that a finished house can be up to 30% more affordable than a traditionally built house. 


To achieve this, we lease out the printers to construction companies and exclusively sell our 3D print material as a B2B. The targeted monthly lease of the equipment is $9,000, the material price is $7 per sq.ft of the wall which is about $8,400 for a single-family house of 1,200 sq.ft. 


We project that a subcontractor using our technology may be able to 3D print walls of four houses, totaling to 1,200 sq.ft each per month. This may result in profits of approximately $13,500/month. 


Because of this, developers and homebuilders may be able to increase their annual construction output to meet the growing demand for new homes and increase inventory in the market.


With over 300,000 unfilled positions in the construction industry, Apis Cor represents an opportunity to combat the U.S. housing crisis without relying on the limited pool of available human labor. When it comes to our competition, we think their 3D equipment is huge and bulky, which limits the size of the 3D-printed buildings they may produce. Only our robots feature compact dimensions, which we believe can work for any size building. How much does it cost to 3D print a house?

The cost depends on many factors such as the location, house design, floor plan, and the type of finishing materials.

But, generally speaking, it’s possible to save upwards of 34% on total project cost to build a 3D printed home using our technology versus an identical concrete block home. These savings are primarily derived from (1) a reduction in labor cost, (2) a shorter overall construction timeline, (3) far less construction waste, and (4) the ability to complete more construction activities simultaneously (such as installing outlets, insulation, and rebar while the printer is still operating), (5) saving costs on the finishing and installation of the insulation  (6) no need to install dry walls.

What material is used to 3D print concrete houses?

One of the common questions we are frequently asked is, what is concrete 3D print material? We use durable, concrete-like material. The composition is very similar to concrete: Portland cement, sand (not gravel or big particles) and several special components to make the material “extrudable”. These components are about 10% of the mix composition, they are available on the market and are already being used in construction.

We have tested our 3D print material in an independent lab. Our material is 33% stronger than the material for concrete blocks! Our 3D printed walls are reinforced with rebar, and attached to the roof and foundation in the exact same way that widely accepted concrete block walls are reinforced and integrated into the roof and foundation.  This is how we are able to 3D print strong, safe homes.

Apis Cor technology can be used for rebuilding efforts in Florida after hurricanes. Our technology is not only about building new homes faster but also building homes that can last longer and withstand hurricanes and floods. At Apis Cor, we have developed strong, concrete-like 3D print material that is 33% stronger than concrete blocks. (Specs

Our 3D-printed walls are reinforced with rebar, and attached to the roof and foundation in the same way that the widely accepted concrete block walls are reinforced, and integrated into the roof and foundation. Concrete block houses can be rated for category 5 hurricanes. Thus, our houses can be too.

Additionally, 3D printing makes it quick and easy to print curved walls that can effectively deflect hurricane-force winds, compared to a flat concrete block wall.  Floods are by far the most dangerous and costly natural disasters. Unlike wood-framed homes, our 3D-printed concrete is moisture resistant and it does not require drywall or exterior foam-board insulation, which is commonly damaged during flood events.

In 2019, Apis Cor constructed the largest 3D-printed building in the world for the Dubai Government. It still remains the Guinness Book World record! Look at this beautiful two-story administrative building standing at 32ft tall with an area of 6,400 sq.ft.



This building was 3D printed directly on site utilizing just one Apis Cor 3D printer. Isn't that impressive? The mobility of our 3D printer enables us to easily move around the construction site and can print any square footage. For larger projects, multiple printers can be used to further reduce the project completion time.

Apis Cor’s founding team has been on site for all of our projects and has gotten their hands dirty, gaining practical experience. We believe it’s essential to be very hands-on while developing the technology and improving the product. 

Here is Apis Cor’s CTO and inventor of the technology, Nick Cheniuntai, supervising the printing process on one of our projects last year. Once Frank, our 3D printer, is set up for a job, the process of printing a house is pretty “boring” because there is no work for a crew! :) 

The process of laying concrete-like 3D print material is very satisfying. Thanks to our proprietary formula, the material is extruded smoothly and maintains the form of a layer while being strong and durable. By the time the top layer has been extruded, the lower layer has already hardened enough to maintain the weight of the top layer. Material science is an important part of technology and quality build.  We are proud to have successfully developed such advanced materials.

Frank 3D prints walls using durable concrete-like material. These walls are reinforced with rebar to comply with existing concrete block building codes. 

Frank is compact and can fit the standard flatbed trailer that can be towed by a pick up truck. 

Frank precisely builds walls of a standard home within 2-5 days, and enables overall construction to be completed in as little as 2-3 months! 

Our goal by 2027 is to have 400 Franks in operation that will be utilized by construction companies. This amount of printers can deliver at least 20,000 houses annually. 


Apis Cor exists to empower homebuilders with tools that increase productivity and thus increase inventory on the market. 

With this capital, we will begin scaling production of our robotic system and start delivering it to homebuilders in America.
